- 5 out of 5 stars review1/14/2025Recently purchased and installed. Easy out of the box setup. Ran well in practice. Enough power to run my whole house. Push button/remote start-up will be a gift. Confident in ease of use if needed. Hope it isn't needed, at least for a prolonged period.
WGen9500c Awesome price! Great features.
Deb O'Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/7/2025i bought this one month ago. I am a senior citizen. It was easy to move around on wheels. I started it up for the first time, and it started immediately. It was an easy push button start, no yanking a cord. No problems yet. I like the tri fuel option.
easy to use, easy to start
tlptx123Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/2/2025I got it 1 month ago as a backup power source in case there is a power outage. Following instructions, it is easy to setup (just installation of wheels and feet) in ~15 min. Hooking up and connecting to our house gas line is also easy with correct adapter. Starting the machine with a simple pushing button, it works as expected. I just tried twice (each 30 min) when linking to my house electric panel with a kit, it can power my house (lights, microwave, refrigerator, etc). Happy with it. Waiting for the next power outage.
Nice generator and Work as expected
ttbjOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/11/2025I purchased this generator a month ago and I'm definitely glad that I did. This generator ran my house for five days with no problems. The natural gas connection was a lifesaver so I didn't have to venture outside in freezing temperatures to refuel. The key fob start worked perfectly
Great features
Gentlemen JackOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/1/2026Bought this as an upgrade to my old 30amp 6500 generator. 12500 kw start-up. Electric start works awesome. Hooked up a 20 lb tank hit the remote start and it cycled twice and ran like a champ. Love the dual fuel capabilities to run propane tanks, much easier to refill vice gas tank. 50amp RV outlet will be connected to a home transfer switch to run entire panel. Way cheaper than a whole home generator, just not automatic.
Remote start, 50 amp and dual fuel is a no brainer
Wg9500 reviewOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/26/2026I bought this unit after getting by on a smaller generator during Helene. Wired up a transfer switch and added a natural gas connection. After this ice storm we went through in January 2026, this unit performed flawless for the 17 hour power outage we went through. I highly recommend this unit.
Excellent!
TMac25Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/29/2026After the snow storm we walked into the store and the first thing we saw was this generator that could run on gasoline, propane and natural gas. We worried about losing power during the whole storm so we found a salesperson because no matter what, we could get at least one of the fuels to run the generator. No more worries!
Love at First Sight
nomoreworriesOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/20/2026We just recently had an 80 mph wind gusts storm with temperatures in the teens and power was out for over 13 hrs. I did not have a generator and house was getting cold and I was getting concerned over frozen water lines. The fridge was getting warm. I bought this generator for future power outages. Just hooked it up to propane and it started right up. My power company is coming this week to install a Generlink to power my house from the generator.
Power outages
LonechOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/30/2026I purchased this generator to replace an old. Set up was easy and I connected it to propane to try it out. Started right up. Being able to use propane makes keeping fuel on hand easier and not having to worry about gasoline going bad. We have power outages once or twice a year due to storms. The 50 amp plug will be handy to connect it to our panel when our electrician gets it setup. This model doesn't have the drain hose on the float bowel to drain it. Would have been nice instead of pulling the plug and catching the gas in a small container.
New Generator
Grader01Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review3/3/2026Easy setup. Hookup was straight forward. Freight packaging was secure delivering peace of mind that our generator arrived in perfect condition. We tested power strength capabilities on all our desired home utilities. No issues. We are confident that when power goes out next time we will be comfortable and all our appliances will be protected.
Power Protection Peace of Mind
CAO754Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review1/31/2026Just bought this a few days ago and so far so good. Hoping to be able to rate this 5 stars after extended use. Love the remote start feature and the ability to use propane. I've owned gasoline powered generators in the past but I don't always use me generator on a regular basis and despite using fuel stabilizer it would style gum up the fuel system causing problems. Having a propane generator should resolve my past issues with generators in general.
Love the features and fuel options.
racinrodOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 1 out of 5 stars review1/29/2026I bought this generator a little over a year ago. I initially set it up, ran it and all was good. I even pulled it out of my garage and ran it every so often. When a predicted snow/ice storm came out, I pulled the generator out and put it where I'd be using it if power went out. Only problem, every time I started it, the CO light would flash and off it went. This was in an open area. I have tried several times in differing spots with no luck. It has never really been used, just started periodically. I'm so disappointed. Please advise on how this can be fixed.

Dag1124Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/31/2026I bought this after losing power for 6 days this winter. Haven't had to use it yet but I did connect it to propane and it started with the push button. Not looking forward to using it but it's comforting to know it's there. It is heavy and was delivered on a pallet. I managed to unpack and assemble it by myself but it would be easier with two people.
Started on the first try!
Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/28/2026I purchased this generator so that I won't have to go out in the middle of the night and refill a generator with gasoline in the freezing cold. I have high expectation that's going to accomplish that task for me. I got a hook up installed next to my gas meter where I can hook up a flexible hose and run it to the generator. I have an interlock on my breaker box so that I can run the generator straight into the power on my house. One tip is, if you haven't had the generator hooked up and running, you might want to start it on gasoline first. Then switch it over to natural gas. The generator running pulls the air out of the gas line, faster than just cranking it with the starter. After that you're good to go. I tested running my house on this ...
No more space heaters
AwesomeindianaOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/9/2026VERY EASY TO SET UP, DOES COME WITH OIL AND A BATTERY. THE WHEELS SEEM FAIRLY HEAVY DUTY AND IT SEEMS VERY EASY TO USE. I HAVE NOT RUN IT YET, BUT I DON'T FORSEE ANY PROBLEMS. ALSO LIKE HOW IT HAS THE QUICK BATTERY DISCONNECT SO IT IS NOT DRAINING THE BATTERY WHEN NOT IN USE/
GREAT FEATURES
BLAKEMOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/14/2026I purchased this machine on 1/31/26 and I'm glad I did. The build quality is excellent and the measured THD was below 12% ( I was expecting something around 20% or more) and it powers my 4 ton Air Conditioner and the house with no problem. I was also pleasantly surprised to see in the owners manual the instructions on how you proceed if you need a floating neutral so you can safely wire it directly to your electrical system. Everything I needed to get going was included and I'm genuinely happy with my purchase. I will likely purchase one of their smaller Inverter models in the next month or so to supplement my solar system.
Great Generator for the money!
Claxton McDarrinOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/28/2026Our area was hit pretty hard by an ice storm. We were out of power and pretty cold in an all electric house. We bought this generator when our roads cleared. It was easy too hook into the house and runs what we need it to. Next time we lise power, we'll be golden
Life saver
Rae08Originally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/17/2026I bought this due to living in florida with the hurricanes and it has performed well. It's large enough to power my 5th wheel 36 foot RV with 2 air conditioners. setup was easy, swapping between fuel sources just as simple. i enjoyed it so much, i had my company by the larger size for our usage on projects. well done
great product
9500 victorOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 4 out of 5 stars review2/16/2026Generator looks great and appears sturdy. Easy to assemble with wheels and provided tools. Also included engine oil is convenient. But follow instructions for initial start up on the actual generator fuel tank. The "quick start" guide is incomplete for that. Once all connections made and valves open, starting generator up is a breeze. Noise is 85 db.
Easy Set Up. Solid Construction. Easy Start.
JLRTOriginally posted onwestinghouse.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/28/2026Bought this when the ice storm started in Tennessee on 1/25/26 and lost power for days and I brought this thing home, started it up and it was a champ. Powered my fridge multiple heaters, WiFi, tv's and never flinched. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Awesome!!
Great generator
