- 5 out of 5 stars review6/6/2024First, I must say I absolutely love this new packaging! There are 4 packages of 2 Boneless/Skinless chicken breast for a total of 8. They are a great portion full of flavor and juice not fatty at all! My husband and I enjoyed and will be purchasing more in the future. We actually purchased wings as well. (love they are in flats and drumettes and don't need to be cut apart!) Thanks for this new packaging, Members Mark! =)

Lknar - 3 out of 5 stars review4/26/2024I have been buying all my meat from Sam's for at least 10 years. I absolutely HATE the chicken in the bag. The first pack I got the chicken was smashed and basically shredded. It is NOT easy to separate packets because I've had them rip open and the sticky bit holding the two sides has also ripped open bags. Maybe MAYBE I would suck it up if the bags had an easy open corner like the ground beef. To open I have to extremely carefully separate the packets then cut the bag open and try really hard not to contaminate everything with raw chicken juices. LOSE THE BAG GO BACK TO THE TRAY

I understand it is by weight but when I am trying to cook for two and I open the package and there is only one breast it is aggravating. I like to be able to see what the chicken actually looks like before buying it.

bri10937 - 3 out of 5 stars review6/9/2024The chicken is very tasty and moist, even when grilled. It works great in a variety of recipes. However, the packaging is troublesome. The glue that holds the individual packs together is very sticky. Therefore when you try to separate each pack it tears a hole in them. The packs then need to be placed in a Ziploc bag in order to keep or freeze.

Hoop - 5 out of 5 stars review6/11/2024I will say the butchering on this was not the best but they were way cleaner than what I get in other grocery stores, and the chicken breasts weren't uniform. I personally liked there were 2 breasts a package because I cook for 2-4 people so it works out good and prevents me from having to portion things out. The chicken itself cooked up really well, I really have nothing bad to say about the chicken. Would definitely get it again.

Ulturra - 2 out of 5 stars review6/6/2025Cannot separate packages as they are glued together... not convenient! Plus unable to see what you are getting. Some packages have 1 big and 1 small breast. I've even had an occasional package with 1 large breast only. I end up having to use both packages every time even though I only need 1....wasteful and more expensive.

The chicken was moist when it was cooked, but after warming up for lunch, it did get a little dry. Maybe next time I cook them, I won't cook them completely, and they can finish cooking when I heat them up. I like the individual bags and would buy the chicken again.

It’s like that soft, stretchy booger glue.I used scissors to cut it into its four quarters. No mishaps. There was no big juicy mess upon opening the portions. The breast meat needed no fat trimmed, nor was it slimy, shredded, or unevenly sized. I briefly brined the chicken breasts, then grilled them to perfection. Thanks Sam’s!

Eugene - 2 out of 5 stars review8/27/2025Quality of chicken is 8/10 Packaging 1/10 I have tried to adjust to the chicken being packaged this way and I cannot stand it. The main difficulty is the sticky tack inbetween the packages. Im a woman in my 30s spening 10 minutes hurting my hands trying to get sticky tack off of a plastic bag. Its ridiculous. I much prefer the other packaging as a whole or it would be helpful if the sticky tack is not added on when manufacturing it.Chrislynn
- 5 out of 5 stars review12/3/2024I really like this chicken! It is very tender. Those enormous breasts from other stores can be so tough. Plus what is making them so big? Hormones? These pieces can be different sizes, but chickens are not all the same size. Love that it is free range and from USA. Love that the chickens are not shot full of hormones and antibiotics! Plus, I really like the packaging. I don't have to buy a huge package (to get the best pricing) and come home and have to separate it, and put into freezer bags. If I need more than 2 pieces, then I just thaw another pouch! I definitely recommend this chicken.

777 - 3 out of 5 stars review8/20/2024I have bought my family's chicken breast at Sam's for a few years but recently they changed the packaging. When the packaging changed the quality changed. The pieces are much smaller and some pieces don't look like breast. I have found bones and weird blood spots. Its awful. Very dissapointed.

My only complaint is that it does not state that there are two chicken breasts in each package, which I think it should. I opened two sections thinking there was one large breast in each package but there are two so I had to repackage two of them again.

You buy it so you can separate and use at different times. I CANNOT pull apart - it is glued and when I try to possibly use scissors, even though I try to be so careful, I poke a tiny hole. I will probably not purchase this again for that very reason.

Nana - 3 out of 5 stars review10/29/2024Normally a staple purchase each month- Don’t like the new packaging because you can’t see what you’re getting, bags have two breast each however, one breast is normally large to medium size and the second Brest tends to be small. Still works for recipes that I intend to cut the chicken up but won’t be enough for a family of four if I decide to cut them down the middle into halves as I was able to previously when all the breast were nice and big. Not the same quality, very disappointing, will be comparing quality and price with my local grocery as I had to do during Covid when SAMs prices were too high.

In fact, because of this chicken, I have not been able to look at, buy or smell any chicken. I stopped buying any chicken! I am DEFINITELY NEVER PURCHASING CHICKEN FROM SAMS CLUB AGAIN!! The first time, I thought it was a fluke. Then the next time it was also rotten!! Definitely NEVER purchasing chicken from Sam's ever again. What a huge waste of money!
