We continue to reduce our use of foam trays for Member’s Mark meat and poultry products in favor or less material used overall, to minimize our environmental impact. In doing so, we have significantly improved the use, convenience, and storage capabilities of Member’s Mark fresh chicken products. Our newer saddle packages have perforated pouches, to easily use what’s immediately needed, and neatly and efficiently store the rest in the refrigerator or freezer. No need to rewrap and re-package opened chicken, like in the past. We’ve also made sure there are two pieces of chicken breasts per pouch so consumers can more easily calculate the number of packages they’ll need to serve.
