They are good avocados, creamy and tasty. Sometimes they come too ripe, so I just need to be careful to pick them at the right consistency for my use. Also, make sure uts avocado from Mexico because in the past ive gotten some from Peru and those were bad because they never ripe.

If you wait more than a day you will miss that heavenly guacamole window and move on to that avocado toast period. These are almost always ready to eat immediately even though they might seem too firm from the outside. Excellent quality. Try not to bruise them with rough handling on the way home -- they do bruise easily.

I have bought avocados here before that were fine. However, this most recent bag didn't ripen properly. After sitting on the countertop for a week and a half (10-11 days), they were still mostly hard. I expect ripening by the end of a week at most. I cut open the last one today, it was still quite hard after more than 2 weeks (had to cut it off the pit with a knife).

Super disappointing. I went in here to purchase these for a restaurant style experience in our building and when I got there and purchased these they were all absolutely rock hard and stayed that way for I want to say like 3 or 4 days afterwards which made them almost unusable for when we needed them.

These avocados are the best you can buy for this incredible price, so I always pick up a bag and divide it between my daughter and I. There are rocksolid firm and they’re great to have on hand. My actual problem is that I tend to forget I have them, and the avocado turns bad before I can eat it. But this is such a great find at Sam’s Club that I always look for. And here in California, we know a thing or two about avocados

I buy these as they are less mishandled by ignorant and careless retail workers. 99% of avocado issues are caused by bruises from retail workers throwing these rather delicate fruits around. There was a rather extensive Australian study which confirmed this. (Search YouTube) A moderate bump of the fruit will result in a dark bruise in a couple of days and ultimately result in a mostly inedible fruit. Also an avocado with the stem end still attached will be superior to those that do not have it as when the stem end is lost the fruit will darken at that end as oxygen penetrates. These bagged avocados have proven to be a better purchase even though I can sometime find some a few cents less, the bagged units have suffered less handling trauma at point of sale. To this end, I once yelled at a Sam's employee slinging bags of avocados, carelessly and roughly to consolidate boxes. I don't think this imbecile understood nor cared about the damage he was doing. In that, he is typical of the low care and lack of training of point of sale employees, whether Sam's Club or elsewhere.

These are consistently great avocados! I purchase these almost every week and am never disappointed. They are so creamy and smooth. I've purchased avocados from several other stores and they are never as good as the one's from Sam's. These will remain on my weekly shopping list!

These were already beginning to ripen when I got them home so I had to take care of them quickly. They will usually last me 3-4 days, but not this time. Some of them had brown spots in them when I sliced them. I may have to look for my produce elsewhere other than Sams.

Healthy for less. Bulk purchase makes this an economical choice for adding fresh avocado to the menu. Add it to shakes, slice it for soup or salad, smash it for dip or topping, just a great choice. Buy when not quite ripe to have them last all week. Buy ripe to make a dip, sauce, or fresh avocado pico!

I've ordered these for curb side pick-up frequently and have always been pleased with the quality and freshness of the avocados. The fruit is consistently a large size, ripe but not overly ripe with a creamy flesh. With fresh produce, especially, having a store shopper select my product can be concerning, but to be truthful, the Sam's Club shoppers in store #6314 in Sheffield Village, Ohio have never let me down.
