I have purchased these avocados before but never again. Even when they appeared ripe, they were not. I could not get these to soften. Even being on the counter for 2+ weeks, still hard as a rock.

I made the mistake of assuming these were from Mexico. Unfortunately, they are all not. They are Peruvian avocado and the worst! They are stringy, astringent and as always my least favorites avocados.

These avocados brought from Peru are of poor quality, they take 8 days to ripen from the time they are purchased, and they remain rock hard. I do not recommend them

Great avocados, just make sure to check the label. If they come from Peru, don’t even bother. As they will never ripen. Only buy US/Mexico product and you will love them.

Will not ripen, put in paper bag and normally I have no problem with them ripening in 2-4 days (when they’re from Mexico), it’s been about 10 days now and they are slightly soft on the outside but still hard on the inside.

These avocados from Peru are terrible! They don't ripen well and are tasteless. Please don't buy them any more. Go back to USA or Mexico avocados. No wonder they are so inexpensive. Refund on two bags, please!

Ripen on countertop not fridge and went from green to black and never got soft. Cut into and it’s hard and green inside but skin slides off as I’m cutting; kinda slimy. Maybe was frozen prior to selling? Wasted avocados.

Bought these on Saturday, triple checked that they were firm and not squishy. Attempted to use them two days later and every single one was rotten. Sam's Club produce has been questionable lately.

This must be a bad year (2023) for these avocados, one or two per bag has to be tossed. With that kind of loss, it makes more sense to hand-pick them at the local market instead of losing product and money on each bag.

I love these avocados when they are from Mexico. They're creamy and flavorful, but the ones from Peru stay away from! They will not ripen as they should. Read the label before buying or you most likely will end up tossing them to your trash can.
