Essentia is a great water, don't get me wrong, but it's expensive! I love this water because it goes down smooth and is so much more affordable than Essentia (half the price!).

I tested a couple bottles. Definitely more alkaline than tap water. Tastes good. I believe that the additives ( potassium hydroxide, and calcium/ magnesium chloride) are what make it alkaline.

We've been buying this water for years. However, we've noticed the last few months, the water is always tinted. If you put the bottle on a white piece of paper or hold it up to light, you can see the brown tint. Definitely doesn't seem safe.

I purchased the Essentia alkaline water with this one at the same time. I can not taste the difference between the two. It’s both ph 9.5+. But Member’s Mark is offered at HALF Price of Essentia!! A great substitute.

I only drink a high-alkaline water and am so glad Sam’s has these at a reasonable price. The only thing I wish they would change is the thickness of the bottle. It’s a bit thin for my liking.
