Massive storage capacity, awesome convert drawer!
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how much capacity this refrigerator had, especially in the door bins! My old refrigerator was similar in size but it definitely didn’t store as much food or drinks. Not sure how they do it but I love it! I’m also a big fan of the middle drawer that has multiple temperature settings. It’s a fully convertible drawer that has 5 different temperature settings with one of them being a freezer. The incredible capacity and convertible drawer are going to be extremely convenient for when I host the holidays. While the capacity and convertible drawer are great, I can’t forget to mention the soft closing door. This is great when you have a 4 year old who loves to help himself to a snack and typically slams the refrigerator door shut. But not anymore! LG provided great service throughout the entire process. This refrigerator arrived earlier than expected and the gentlemen who installed it, Tae and Carlos, were beyond supportive. This has been an awesome experience and my family couldn’t be happier with our new spacious refrigerator!
Extremely Quiet! Extremely Roomy! Amazing design!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is amazing! I never thought of LG when thinking kitchen appliances and this has completely converted me. I had a different brand (big brand name in kitchens) for many years and had issues from the start. It was noisy, it would constantly hum and on numerous occasions the circulation fan broke causing parts to freeze and parts to not get cold at all. This refrigerator is quiet and extremely spacious. I love the design (pocket handles) the interior space is HUGE and I absolutely love the convertible draw that can be used as a fridge or freezer! If this is a sign of LG products, I cannot wait to convert my entire kitchen over!!
Awesome upgrade - good feng shui
I love this fridge. It fits great in my kitchen, and it holds WAY more than my old fridge. When I upgraded to the LG, I loaded it with the food that was in my old refrigerator. Our old refrigerator was completely full, but LG ended up being about 1/4 full. Opening my old fridge used to be stressful — food was wedged into spaces and precariously balanced on mysterious jars or forgotten tin foiled shapes. Opening this fridge is a relaxing experience. Plenty of room for everything to be in its place. Easy to find the pickles. The doors even close softly. It’s also peaceably quiet. My kitchen flows into the living room and I got used to hearing the chronic hum of my old fridge in the living room. Now, the only time I hear this fridge is if I leave the door open and it politely jingles at me to close it. Another thing I appreciate is the door shelf gives enough space to hold an open bottle of wine upright. That cork sticking up used to make the bottle too tall to stand up in my old fridge and I’d have to lean it against something. The middle drawer is a cool concept (pun intended) and has caused fridge-envy in my neighbors. I like that it can be used as a separate freezer area, regular fridge area, or a meat area (colder than the regular fridge area). We are currently using it as a meat area to keep chicken breasts etc. separated from other food and at a cooler temp. The movable separator wall in the drawer is a nice touch too. The freezer is super deep. The bottom has plenty of room for bigger items, and the rolling shelf helps keep things in order. We use the shelf for the go-to frozens, like blueberries and bagels, and there is always a full bucket of little ice cubes. The water from my kitchen faucet does not taste good. The filtered water from this fridge tastes great. You lose a little space on the left door when you opt for the model with the water/ice dispenser, but it is well worth it. Lastly, the crushed ice is awesome. It gives my leftover morning coffee new life as mid-day iced coffee. This fridge has been a transformative experience.
Awesome Refrigerator - Love the Convert Drawer
We love our LG French Door 4 Drawer Refrigerator! The convert drawer is our favorite feature - so easy to access frequently used foods. We love the space. Tons of room for everything even with lots of company coming. Dual ice maker is another favorite feature. We never run out of ice any more, and have 3 choices of size of ice cube: freezer, cubes in door, crushed in door. The water/ice selector is a little hard to get used to and doesn't always respond quickly, but that's a minor quirk. Overall great purchase we would whole heartedly recommend.
Disappointed
Although I like my new fridge, I was disappointed to find out that I can't buy more dividers for my full convertable door without buying the whole drawer too. The drawer has 4 slots for the clear plastic dividers to go but it only came with one. Even the picture on the manual shows two dividers. What's up with that!!!!

Smart refrigerator and smart design.
From the outside to the inside the LG 4-door smart French Door refrigerator is a well-designed refrigerator. The convertible drawer that, as needed, can be used as either a freezer drawer or refrigerator drawer is a great feature. Over all, this is the most convenient refrigerator we’ve ever purchased!
Great all around!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great refrigerator. It is very quiet when it is cooling and very well lighted on the interior. The middle drawer feature is great for cheeses, sliced meats, etc. it really helps keeps things organized and frees up a lot space in the main cabinet. The water delivery in the door works very well. Other brands merely trickle from the dispenser.

This model is designed for quiet cooling performance, and the bright interior lighting makes it easy to see everything at a glance. The middle drawer is a standout feature for organizing snacks, cheeses, and deli items, and it really helps maximize space in the main compartment. The strong water flow from the dispenser is another benefit many customers appreciate. Great features and no craft ice like I wanted.
Love the four doors and the ability to make the middle drawer a freezer section or a refrigerated section. I purposely bought this model since it did not have the craft ice option. I did not see the need for the craft ice or the plethora of problems that I read that people have with if failing. I am also hoping that I do not have any compressor issues like my previous LG. The wifi and app feature is nice to get notifications or remotely turn on the ice plus feature to generate extra ice. The one thing that is missing is the divider in the middle drawer there is one included and four slots to use one. I don't mind having to buy another if I need one, gut that is not even an option right now. Hopefully that is added to the parts list so that you can buy one if you want one from LG.
Great refrigerator, poor support
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is great, and I definitely love the freezer drawer! We use the freezer drawer to pre-freeze items for freeze drying and it works very well. The registration process and ThinQ application are not like the refrigerator. I cannot get an account established due to the LG system not sending me the verification email and consequently if I try to sign in it says the account has not been verified. Ultimately, the refrigerator is great, support not so much.

Great Fridge, just some minor annoying features
Very nice fridge overall. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is because of a couple minor things. The door alarm starts beeping about 40 seconds after the door has been opened. This is extremely annoying especially if you're trying to load groceries into it. Pretty sure LG can trust is customers to close their own refrigerator doors, useless feature. The other bad feature is the touch water/ice dispenser. Inconvenient if you just want to get some ice and then water. You have to touch the select button 3 times but it's not responsive or sensitive to touch so it feels like a lot of trial and error just to get water. It feels like an old guy designed this fridge to attract what they think younger customers want, but they missed the mark. Cool it with the technology, sometimes real buttons are way better. Still very happy with the fridge so far though.
Thank you for the honest and thoughtful feedback, we’re glad to read you’re happy overall, and we truly appreciate you pointing out the areas where we can improve. The door alarm and dispenser touch controls are designed with energy efficiency and sleek design in mind, if you're looking to enhance your experience with this fridge, we’d be happy to provide some suggestions through social media @LGUSSupport! ^Jose
