Sadler's Smokehouse Mesquite Beef Brisket 2 lbs.

Doesn't taste the same.
It use to be tender with a good flavor.  Now it's just bland and rubbery.

It's Not The Same

This was garbage.  It was tough, it was flavorless.  It was a waste of $26

So much fat on it the whole thing ended up in the trash! What a terrible waste of money!

Don’t waste your money

Absolutely nasty. 2 bites of edible meat. The rest was fat and gristle. So disappointing.

Mostly fat. My hubby enjoyed the flavor. I didn't try it.

Decent flavor, after heating up it is dry and a little tough.

A tad dry

The mesquite flavoring makes it taste more like ham. If that appeals to you .... go for it.

delicious

We had this for dinner on some really good rolls,  toasted with cheese.  A little too fatty.  It was just okay.

Just Okay

The little bit of meat you get is tender and tasty. However it was at minimum half fat that I had to trim and throw away. Not buying again.

If you like fat

If you want rough hard to chew meat this is for you.  It was dry, with very little seasoning or smoke flavor.  I tried heating it up low and slow in the oven and on the stove top in bbq sauce and the meat was tough as a cow hide.  I tried it twice and throw it in the trash both times.  Don’t buy this, you will only be disappointed.

Shoe Leather

Yum! I loved that this is precooked and all I had to do is warm it up. I thought it was a bit pricey so I’m not sure if I would buy again as it would be less to make my own but I do appreciate the convenience!
