This potato salad has miracle whip in it not mayonnaise. Please, please bring back the red potato salad made with mayonnaise. That was sooooooo much better! Potato salad should have potatos, mayo, tax bit of mustard, pickles red onion, celery, salt pepper and black olives if you like them.

I have eaten and created my own potato salads for many years. I like really "good" ones. LOL--I like to think of myself as an expert on the subject. This is the first one that I threw into the garbage can with the container almost full in my entire life. Biggest complaint was the thickness of the mayo used in the potato salad mixture. Potato size was another concern I had as well--too big for my taste. In my opinion it was gross--others may like it but I would never buy this product again. Sam's used to sell another commercial potato salad that was much better than this one. Most commercial brands I have found to be inferior to the ones made at home but there have been a few--very few--exceptions.

Because it's so creamy, we add more diced and then boiled - about 10 minutes - russet baking potatoes to this, almost doubling the weight in the process. We also add a well-shredded large sweet onion to it. Goes a long way and it's still a very tasty potatoe salad.

Tried the Member's Mark Southern Style Potato Salad (5 lbs.) and believe it should be labeled “candied potato chunks” to more accurately describe the flavor. Creamy texture should be called lumpy gooey consistency. The description of this product accuses it of having chunks of onions, celery, and bell peppers but did not see or taste any evidence. Not a fan. of this
