WARNING BEFORE BUYING UNSAFE PACKAGING ---potato salad is delicious however the container is not properly sealed when sold in the stores. theres no plastic seal to protect customers from seeing whether the container has been opened already or tampered with. the balck plastic cap just comes off with no seal at all!!! HEALTH AND SAFETY IWARNING - LID JUST PEELS OFF IN STORE NO PLSTIC OR SEAL.

I have never had potato salad this bad in my entire life. I'm over 50! It was like eating CANDIED POTATO SALAD. The sugar in it would send a diabetic to the hospital. All I could taste was sweet dressing on potatoes. What southerner would eat this CANDY potato salad? Disgusting, wish I could get a refund but I needed it for a gathering, so I WASHED OFF ALL THE DRESSING and added my own ingredients and mayonnaise. Still tasted sweet tho.

This is by far THE best store bought potato salad I have ever tasted. Getting to old to chop all the ingredients needed to make my own. I, like others, like mine with less mayonnaise, so I added more potatoes, my seasonings and a few other items and VOILA, homemade!! Seriously it is great on its own. Hope they keep this item in stock.

This is too sweet for my taste and as my title stated, it's nowhere near as good as Reser's Red Potato Salad which Sam's Club used to sell for years. Reser's is the best commercial potato salad you can buy. I will have to buy it elsewhere because this Member's Mark Southern Style is nasty in comparison.

I didn't have diabetes before I tried this potato salad, but I feel compelled to have my glucose checked because of the overwhelming taste of sugar from the first bite. I've spent my entire life eating potato salad, so I feel like a good judge of potato salad character. This is one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten, let alone a potato salad. Previously I thought a poorly executed German-style recipe was the worst I'd ever had, but this potato salad wins the gold medal of terrible recipes. What is the logic of ADDING 9 GRAMS of sugar per serving to a potato salad? All this needs is raisins in it and it will make perfect sense. Do your pancreas a favor and avoid this potato salad! Or pick up a bottle of insulin at the pharmacy on your way out.

I have been buying potato salad from Sam's for years now. This potato salad is so SWEET! Who adds SUGAR to potato salad?! In this version sugar is the 4th ingredient on the ingredients list, behind potatoes, dressing and salad dressing (both of which contain sugar as well!). This potato salad is so sweet that I had to go and check the ingredients list. After 1 serving to my family of 5 out of the 5lb. container, I am unable to serve the rest. It sets my teeth on edge. I will not be buying this again. I am now reminded to check all labels for added sugar before buying. Valuable lesson that I am reminded of.
