This A/C was wonderful to use during our last power outage due to recent hurricane. Easy to set up & run on our portable generator. We used for our primary bedroom & it was perfect. Price & quick delivery! Sam’s club doesn’t disappoint with products & service.

Central AC went out so we were in a bind. Bought two of these units because I didn't know if one would be enough. Ended up only needing the one. This is my first experience with this type of unit and it exceeded my expectations. Not difficult to set up and it cooled our living room and kitchen really well. With the help of fans throughout the rest of the house it helped those too. Only thing I would change for the future is that I wouldn't use the adhesive, flat, insulation tape/pad. Instead I would use the thicker, non-adhesive insulation to wrap around the unit as well as filling in the gap above between the two windows. I only used the unit for a few days, and as a "portable" unit, the adhesive isn't transferable and is difficult to get off the window sill.

Actually purchased two! Oddly, one generates a lot of water when running in cool mode while the other doesn't generate a drop! But both cool like crazy! Both very quiet as well! I love the duct in a duct which makes total sense. Sure beats the prices I was getting to convert to heat pumps and splits!

Much better build quality that other portable AC units I've seen, particularly the window exhaust adapter. The controlled make-up air, the "duo" from its name, is a strong selling point. And the "sweep" mode for the supply register is a really good feature for mixing the air in the room. Though lacking on the actual details of the variable capacity provided by inverter compressor speed control, the concept is well established. Like all portable AC units, its major draw back is that the condenser is in the house, i.e., it's not a split system. This characteristic makes all portable AC units less efficient than window AC units. For the same reason, portable AC units do not control humidity as well as window units.

Great unit, quiet and cools quickly and evenly. My only issue is the set up. It is not that easy to get a good fit into a side opening window. And, the unit too easily detaches from the window setup with the slightest adjustment. However, so much better than my last unit Serene which was awful.

I bought this earlier this year I wanted to make sure I got one cuz I had two air conditioners go out last year. I'd like to know what to put it on to make it get cold because I would have thought 70 was cold but apparently not . I was up at 3:00 because I was so hot. And last night was the first night I used it. And if this can't be fixed I will be calling Sam's because I did buy the extended warranty and I'm not dealing with this during the daytime with 90°.

It will not work when plugged into a GFCI outlet or a circuit that is GFCI protected. I bought it to use in a detached garage which has all GFCI protected outlets, (per code), so i had to return it. With that said, I think this would be an excellent choice for inside the house using an unprotected circuit.

Much quieter than our previous De'Longhi unit and more efficient. The app works out pretty nice too. I have the unit set to cool the room down before bedtime and shut off in the morning. I agree with another rating where the window panel is not great, but my De'Longhi was worse.

Had for approx 3 weeks, cools like a champ, much better than other manufacturer units we've had.. Agree that the pieces for the window are very flimsy and seem cheaply made. To make it worse the instructions are confusing taking longer to set up unit that it should be. The size of the unit is much larger than other makes. Test will be if it leaks like the 2 similar units we've had from different manufactures. but as far as cooling it works far better than what we've had.

I've had this unit a couple years now and it's cooling power is excellent. It can get a bedroom down to under 60 degrees when it's 90 outside. The only issue I've had is severe mold inside the unit. it's almost impossible to clean out and stinks. Unsafe to run without getting inside to clean it on a regular basis.
