I purchased the Dash Clearview Toaster in black, to replace my toaster over that takes up too much space and this was the perfect size, I love that it has one single long slot so you can put in those long pieces of sourdough bread. I used the setting at a number 3 and it turned out the perfect amount of toasting that I like,

I like toast! You can watch your toast get browned (on one side) while you watch! I have owned quite a few toasters and toaster ovens over the decades, and this one is the best toaster for bread so far. The Dash Clearview Toaster gives me excellent control over just how brown I want my toast to be. I have never had a toaster that toasted so uniformly and evenly! You can take out the glass window panel for easy cleaning (if you're just toasting, you probably won't need to) as well as a tray that catches the crumbs. If your eggs and bacon aren't done yet, you can press the Reheat button to make your toast nice and warm again without burning it. It also has a bagel button and a defrost button (for frozen waffles, for example). The slot is wide enough for the thickest slices. One caveat; it will not accommodate two really wide pieces of bread at a time. It is fine for most bread, but the maximum total width of the opening is 10.5 inches.

Nice toaster, novel glass front. toasts very well. Only bad point is it sometimes shoots the bread up and out of the toaster....my wife likes that , she tries to predict where to set her plate to catch the toast. I haven't tried to figure how to adjust yet. I like the design of placing toast in a single row.

We have had no problem with the toaster. Some people have had problems with toast being ejected too strongly, but this did not happen with us. Reheat function is very good idea if you have left the toast after initial toasting and it has gotten cold.

I chose this toaster because it was recommended on America’s test kitchen. The toaster slot may be wide enough for two slices, but it isn’t deep enough. When you lower regular sandwich bread the top does not get toasted. America’s test kitchen also claimed that this had a little bit more button if your toast wasn’t dark enough. This toaster does not have that. It also is very vigorous with its ejection so have a catchers mitt nearby. Overall it gets the job done though.

Love this toaster. Some reviews said toast is tossed out of appliance at finish but I have experienced this. I like my toast on the darker side so I use 5 to 7 on the settings. Defrost works great on frozen bread and the bagel setting toasts only the inside of the bagel. I don't use this as much because I like both the inside and outside to be crisp. I just lower the darkness setting. The glass panel is great for watching how the toast is browning especially at the beginning when i wasn't sure which setting to use.

1 of the 4 heating rods is not heating properly.

Nice looking but ,does not toast well. Need to toast twice.

Has a bagel button!! So it toasts just the one side !!! Love

Much larger than i thought it would be. Still trying to find a spot for it. Tried to toast bagels but they just got hard but never browned.
