After returning another toaster to another retailer, saw a review of this one on Americas Test Kitchen as a best buy. I make my own round leaves of bread and this toaster has one long slot to accommodate any size slice. I love the see thru window too.

I love this toaster. I purchased the white and love it. This is very sleek and good looking. I like that it fits against the wall and does not take up counter space. It toasts evenly and is easy to use. I read some bad reviews, but I don't think that they are using common sense when using it and applying the correct settings. I like the Dash products. I bought the griddle, and it is great also.

Easily holds two slices of fairly thick bread or bagels. The glass front make it very easy to get the exact results you want for whatever item your toasting. The controls are simple and functional. The slide lever has a nice light action and does not tip the toaster when pressed. Cleaning is also very easy with the slide out crumb tray and as a bonus, the front glass also slides out from the bottom for easy cleaning. All-in-all, this is a very well thought out toaster at a super competitive price.

Love the toaster, i like to see the color of the toast, dont like it dark. Love how it doesn't take up alot of room on the counter, very slim design.

Good toaster, but has design flaw, The lock down lever didn't last long. I had to wrap it with duct tape to make it catch. Still doesn't work every time.

This is not what I thought it would be... it only toast one side of your bagel, bread or whatever you put in there. It's really an inconvenience to have to flip and retoast what you put in there. I wouldn't recommend this ang really thought about returning mine.

I bought this for my daughter to have at college. She really liked it at first, but it stopped working in less than a month. It heated up, but the lever would not lock down. She's going to return it and try again. Hopefully the next one lasts at least through the semester.

I've had this toaster for about 2 weeks and I'm satisfied. The clearview feature is okay, not great but okay. One problem with the toaster is that when I hit the cancel button the toast pops out of the toaster about 10 inches high. So users be ready to catch it.

I like being able to see what shade the bread or bagel is turning. It only got 4 stars because it still requires me to manually stop it to keep from over toasting bread/bagel. The gauge does not accurately match up with what color toast you consistently get. So...when it is too light, my family cranks it up and then we are visually checking to make sure it doesn't overtoast. The up side is that at least it is toasting the whole piece, which with previous toasters was impossible. I have used this toaster on a variety of things, bread seems to go better than bagels or sliced rolls. While nothing is perfect, I am satisfied.

We bought this toaster about 2 weeks ago, and we've loved it ever since. The single long slot makes it very nice for sourdough round bread when the middle slices are rather long, so you don't have to split it in two. We've toasted bread, bagels, waffles and the glass window lets you keep an eye on how dark your toast gets (my husband likes things less dark than I do, so...it's hard to keep a single setting that works for both of us). We've already recommended it to some friends.
