Before purchasing this product I reviewed it so many times on U tube ,but when I bought it I was thinking it might be too big for my office I was so wrong it really surprise me it is such beautiful piece of equipment that I would recommend to any one,also the2840 is so dependable I could have my faxes out to my clients in no time.the price I paid was very reasonable I didn't hesitate to buy it good work by the people who design this product.thank you so much for making my life easer.god bless.

My laptop modem / software stopped working correctly. I had a few hundred pages to fax. I went to the store and purchased the Brother IntelliFax-2840. I searched online first before going to the store, to check out the features and reviews. I have since faxed all of the documents and then some. People are complaining that the USB cable is not included. How many printers / fax machines have ever included the cable? Try almost none. People read the specifications, the descriptions, what is included and the reviews. The memory is huge, holding up to 400 pages in memory. The fax can load an almost unlimited amount of pages, if you add a few on top as it is scanning the document(s) into the machine for faxing or copying. The specifications list 20 if stacked evenly or 30 if angled. This fax is mainly for personal or small business use. This fax is perfect for my uses.

THIS IS THE FIRST INTELLIFAX -2840 THAT I HAVE HAD. I HAD A HL-5170DN FOR 10 YEARS. EXCELLENT MACHINE THERE. THIS UNIT IS NICE, EASY SET UP AND SO FAR SO GOOD. HAVE ABOUT 20-30 INCOMING PER DAY AND SAME AMOUNT OUTGOING. I AM VERY SATISFIED. I HAD TO TALK TO BROTHER ABOUT SPEED DIAL AND THEY, AS THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN EXCELLENT WITH INSTRUCTIONS AND THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRODUCT. TOOK ABOUT TWO (2) MINUTES FOR THEM TO TELL ME HOW. IT WAS MY FAULT, NOT THIERS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT.

I have 5 small businesses and needed a fax and printer. I kept running down to the corner to run faxes when needed and the color printer I had was always running out of ink, so I was having to buy a lot of ink and I had no need for color. This printer, copier and fax was perfect for me. I've had it now for 2 months and it works great for my needs, it powers right up and provides me with the needed copies and faxes. Easy to set up and use.

it helps me with a lot of stuff I do for my small business it saves me a lot of time,its very efficient when it comes to fax ,copying, printing from the computer and it has a phone too, to me its the best employee at my business and I don't have to pay the machine a salary . Great product: scans VERY fast even in Superfine mode, sends out quality faxes (so we've been told), very quiet, lots of good options. You won't be disappointed. This is actually our second Brother fax. Had to finally replacing the older model after MANY years of faithful service.

We use this mainly as a printer. The unit works well, BUT there is a nightmare problem when the toner or the drum needs changing. You are treated almost as criminal for trying to change your toner (THEY want to prevent you from using some of the cheaper alternate products out there). So, changing the toner or the drum is the opposite of simple and easy.

Grate all in one the fax works grate and its a grate copier and scanner as well. MY old one died after 12 years of service and i got this as a replacement and i love it. Good basic all in one laser printer scanner copier and full featured fax machine

LCD window on this newer model fax machine is extremely difficult to read, even after making contrast adjustments. The LCD window on our 16-year-old Brothers fax machine was excellent and I fully expected a new machine model would be better, not worse. Otherwise, printing quality is very good. We use this on a dedicated fax line just for sending/receiving faxes as we have several other printers connected to our computers for printing and copying. As a stand-alone fax machine, it is very good -- except for the poor quality LCD window.

Bought this machine because my Brother fax finally broke down after more than 20 years! This is a great machine. The copies come out like they were originals and the machine is so quiet, we are never disturbed by the sound when we have a bulk of faxes to send or receive. Really an amazing machine and very reasonably priced. Love it.
