This printer is quick, but that's about it. The toner is very expensive, which wouldn't be so bad if it lasted. And the print quality is below average - very light, even when I change the settings.

We use this in a very small office. We only use it for sending and receiving faxes. We have not, and do not intend to, use it for copying. The set up was very easy - I did it myself without any issues. We are very happy with this fax machine.

Brother IntelliFax 2840 is a GREAT addition to this office. I only hope this will last as long as my prior machine which faxed over 10,000 faxes to the VA in 3 years. I understand normal wear and tear is evident.

A good machine for FAX and Copying documents. Easy to use. It is cheaper than going to stores to have many pages of documents faxed. Happy with the purchase.

This was very easy to set up and use and provides a good quality output as well as accepting a good number of pages for sending faxes. Very happy with the product.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE 2840 IS GREAT EXCEPT THE LED IS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ WITH NORMAL LIGHT. i HAVE TO USE A FLASHLIGHT AND THEN IS IS NOT TOO CLEAR. CAN'T FIND ANY ADJUSTMENT FOR IT.

ok for the price having a hard Tim to save numbers? but other than that good also when sending fax sometimes does not transmit properly have to resend.

When our old fax finally gave up the ghost we were upset to see it leave! Our sadness was short lived as when 'Max' arrived we wondered how we had managed before. He's really fast and the quality of the documents is fantasic.

Use this machine at workplace. It has served us for years that is why I purchased it for home use. Easy to setup, works like a horse, easy to troubleshoot.

Great product, works flawlessly. my only complaint is that the single feed slot is very touchy and doesn't always work. I would not hesitate to buy it.
