This is my third Brother fax machine (the 2820 prior to this one). I have used the Brother fax machines over a 12 year period and they have proven to be reliable and a very good product.

It is high speed! I like how easy it is to use. I did take a minute to realize you didn't have to put the "1" in front of the number! Set up was simple!

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE 2840 IS GREAT EXCEPT THE LED IS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ WITH NORMAL LIGHT. i HAVE TO USE A FLASHLIGHT AND THEN IS IS NOT TOO CLEAR. CAN'T FIND ANY ADJUSTMENT FOR IT.

I bought this product after buying the J220 printer. Needed a fax capability and liked this brand for the ease of set up and ease of use. Compact design for home or small office use.

We have this machine for one month and its already broken. Keeps flashes and beeping for a new toner but we've tried 2 new toners. Poor quality and difficult to reach customer service.

ok for the price having a hard Tim to save numbers? but other than that good also when sending fax sometimes does not transmit properly have to resend.

Have been very happy with it so far. Does not get extensive use but is great as a small home business fax and copier. Customer service has been helpful when needed.

The fax machine functions fine. The only problem I have with the unit is that the display is so small and is very hard to read. You have to stand up and lean over the top of the machine, to get the right angle, to be able to read the display.

Had this FAX working now for 2 weeks, Staff seem pleased with it and it was easy to set up. Found it on the Internet at a good price and if you just want a basic Fax that sends, receives and copies then it is just what you need,

Has been 1 week since I purchased this fax machine and so far so good!! It work fast, and simple to use..! I Recomend this machine to small business use..
