First and last time ever buying a premade Sam's club apple pie. Canned apple pie filling was used in the "recipe", with little (if any) added spices, and with only one type of canned apple - overly sweet and overcooked making for a mushy bite texture. Not a scratch butter crust and the exterior sugar crystals used are too large, hard and an excessive amount on top, for an already syrupy pie filling. Would have been better to not have the pie and never have tasted it. Complete disappointment.

The crust on the pie was way under cooked. Not sure if it’s how they prepare it but there wasn’t any instructions stating to bake longer and it that’s the case the pies need to be refrigerated not on the tables at room temp. Had to toss the pie because raw dough can cause illness. PLEASE CHECK YOUR DOUGH BEFORE EATING

yes, this is good -- not my favorite pie ; little too sweet for my taste [ need to limit the sugar - as is the complaint for almost all products today] and i wish that pecan was year round instead of 'seasonal' as they think it should be nowadays at sams - pumpkin and pecan pies are an all the time product most stores [ and maybe sams could add some lemon meringue] to their dessert list too hint hint

Everyone I know loves this pie - even in a family that has a lot of good homemade bakers. The sugar crystals on top give a nice sweetness and crunch. Only problem is that it needs to be eaten within a day of buying because the crust that is the right amount of crispy/flaky at purchase, turns into soggy and slimy after a day or so.

When I first started purchasing this apple pie they were delicious. Now the last 2 times I have purchased it was unexceptable. They are cooking so many for the holidays and now when you get them the crust is like a uncooked biscuit. I tried putting g it in the oven and let he crust cook some more it did not help. I don’t think I will purchase any more or maybe not around a holiday. Look at the crust before you buy. If you see white areas the crust it is not completely baked.

The Lattice Crust Apple Pie purchased at Sam’s Club in Henderson, was enjoyed by many, especially my husband, at a recent Thanksgiving meal feast held at our church. While I usually do not buy apple pies due to the apples being tart and the crust doughy, the Lattice Crust Apple Pie did not disappoint. My favorite part of the pie was the crust, although the apples were not tart providing the right blend of sweet and sour. It was simply delicious either enjoyed room-temperature or when slightly heated.

Disappointed. Apparently the one i grabbed had 1 or 2 days before it expired. Served later in the week and had mold on it already. Granted i should of refrigerated it but i dont think it says anywhere let alone in large bold print, if not serving in the next 24 hours, refrigerate. Lesson learned.

The positives: The pie has an excellent flavor and texture to the apple pie filling that is not sickeningly sweet, and it serves a good number of people. Not quite as good: this pie is mostly crust between the bottom layer, and the lattice. The taste Inconsistency is good.

Slices of fresh apples smoothered in a rich cinnamon apple filling both slightly tart but delectably sweet. When you want a homemade pie without all the work. The crunchy sugar topped crust compliments the flaky crevices. Best store prepared crust. Generous portions and ohh so good.

I bought this for my sister for Mother's Day dessert because the only dessert she likes is apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Normally I don't eat sweets, but this time I took a slice, warmed it up and topped with the ice cream. I wanted a 2nd piece, but that would have greedy, right? I wish they weren't so large, though. I'm not a big apple pie fan, but it was absolutely delicious.
