I am a side and stomach sleeper, this mattress conforms to all your contours without heating you up. The price and quality is excellent. With all the talk of smells and not laying flat at first, I made arrangements to stay at my daughters, no need it never smelled and immediately laid flat......did I mention I love my new bed. My son and daughter in law, my daughter and son in law are also buying now!

Ordering was easy and the mattress was delivered quickly. Unpacked the mattress and let it set for 12 hours before placing it on bed frame. The firmness was ideal for me and the gel layer helps to keep you from overheating during the night. This combo leads to more comfort and less tossing and turning.

Have used several mattresses over the years, and this is the best so far (though used a relatively short period yet). Felt soft at first, but realized that this is just the gel 'topping'. The base is sturdy. Neither too soft, nor too firm - just right for us. I usually use thick/firm pillows, but needed to switch to a thinner/softer pillow with this mattress. I did a lot of comparison shopping before I purchased this one, and read all the reviews. I am so glad I purchased this one. Both my husband and I are in our 70's and both of us are heavy. We were waking up many times at night to reposition ourselves and woke up so sore in the mornings. We have had this mattress a week and so far have had the best sleep ever. We find ourselves sleeping on our back (which we never did before) we are both side sleepers. This mattress is so comfortable. It forms around your body but you do not sink in, and when you do reposition yourself, it just reforms around you. Great mattress for a resonable price. Our mattress is a king size. Just a word of advice. When that box comes you will need two or more people to help move it. The instructions on how to unpack it are INSIDE the box. Do not open the box until you have it up on the boxspring or foundation, trust me it expands very quickly. Our mattress opened upside down and we had a devil of a time turning it over. Just have some help if possible, you could NEVER do it alone, at least not a king size. We love our mattress, thank you.

I bought this because of severe backpain, I was hesitant to write a review until I was more certain. I did not sleep much on the 1st night because it was very different to what I was used to but since then I have slept better each night and my back pain has gotten better with each night. I am hopping that my back will be 100% within a couple months.

I have spent thousands, and thousands of dollars on mattresses in the past 15 years, yet, this is the very first time we do not have lower back pain, ever!! Purchasing this $492 mattress is the best purchase we have ever made!!. All I can say is that I can not imagine anyone not LOVING this mattress! I have seen the reviews where folks complain about firmness, and smell. There is a very easy fix for that. When you unpack the mattress, walk all over it for 10 minutes. This will open up all the cells, and release the smell of the latex. We unpacked this mattress, walked all over it for 10 minutes, let it sit overnight, and slept on it the next day. Neither my wife or myself can even detect the smell of latex, and the mattress did open up to it's full 13". The last few days have been the best nights sleep each of us have ever had, for as long as we can remember. No sweating at all, actually may be better than a normal mattress! Don't consider the complaints about being too hot, the gel takes care of that in entirety. But this mattress, you will be very happy!!

I had been wanting a Memory Foam Mattress for many years after sleeping on one at a Hotel. I picked this particular mattress because it was engineered to sleep cooler than the others. After sleeping a very short time, 2 weeks, I can tell you that this mattress is no different than the mattress it replaced as far as heat goes. My Wife and I are still adjusting to sleeping on a memory foam mattress but so far I have noticed that My lower back pain is improved substantially. The price for this mattress is very reasonably, particularly if you have received a priced catalog from the Tempur Pedic people. I must refrain from recommending this mattress at this time because I have not slept enough on it to be sure. I hope to prepare another review in the future after I have had a sufficient amount of time to provide a reliable review.

We bought queen size. This mattress is too soft even it says firm. It is good firm support, if you sleep in middle of the mattress alone, but two people each side of this, you feels no support toward to edges. So if you really looking for good firm mattress, don't buy this.

It was a long normal day. The (this) mattress was delivered on time yesterday and I took it out of the packaging as was in directions and let it air for the aternoon. I put the clean sheets on at 9pm showered and went to bed. The bed aired itself in that time and was pretty much oder free. I did not sleep at all. My wife tossed and turned and did not sleep very well either she said. I do not know why. Too soft? If you are sleeping with anyone else you need to keep toward the middle because the edges are soft and you could fall off.

We had to return this mattress, it was way TOO SOFT. Just sitting on the side of the mattress you sink almost to the bottom of it. NO support at all. After sleeping on the mattress for 2 months I was waking up with extreme pain in my back, hips, knees and ankles. I felt as if I was 30 yrs older than I am! My husband was having severe back pain also. We exchanged it out for a Serta Firm Mattress and after just one night the back, hip & ankle pains are gone! If soft is what you are looking for this is a great mattress. If you need any kind of support look elsewhere! Mattress was also EXTREMELY HEAVY. Very difficult to move. We didn't experience any problems with smells that other reviewers mentioned.
