[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator early March. I am very pleased with all the features and space in both the fridge side and freezer. Much more interior space as previous refrigerator but it fit into the same physical space of old one. This is the 3rd lg appliance I have purchased. I didn't plan to buy just lg products but after research and viewing lg ended up being the best products for my needs.

My only thing is that is was supposed to be fingerprint resistant (which I paid more for) but it definitely isn't. I am constantly cleaning it because of the fingerprints from my grandkids and others in the house.

I have a suggestion that maybe you could make the drawers where the handle you grab to open them be on the top instead of the bottom. Once this was delivered, I was surprised by the amount of space versus the fence door. The only thing about this is there is no dairy drawer. I easily fixed this by buying a storage organizer for one 9f the shelves.

I got my refrigerator in March 2023 & am not happy. I really wish I wasn't stuck with a giant lemon! The icemaker constantly freezes up & it has been replaced twice!! I live on Social Security & it took me a long time to save up for a new fridge....I am broken hearted!!

The touch selector for ice and water is unpredictable. You can select "water" and it just changes to one of two types of ice. You can select "ice cubes" and it switches to water. I'm always having to play with this selector for a few seconds until I successfully get the selection that I chose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator has a lot of great qualities and lots of space. Some features that could be improved are: the icemaker doesn't make a lot of ice, and making the selection between water, cubed ice and crushed ice is difficult when the kitchen isn't totally bright as the choices aren't lit. And when dispensing crushed ice, it seems to spray a bit beyond a very wide glass. And the tiny diagrams showing "cubed ice" and "crushed ice" are very difficult to differentiate. And the cold water takes quite a while to come out cold, initially it's just a bit cooler than room temperature, then gets colder, but if you're getting 1/2 a glass of water, it won't be very chillded. Also the bottom refrigerator bins can't be opened unless the refrigerator door is totally opened. It would be narrow to have a small pull out drawer for storage of small things like butter and cheese. But the the refigerator is attractive and seems of fairly good quality.

As for the working of the refrigerator it is great works well so many things to learn to make it the way we needed for us. service call for help was easy and very professional. I will by other LG products when i need them.

We have never had a side by side, but we are SO glad we purchased one this time. The freezer seems to hold more than our last appliance, We had a fridge with the lower freezer. It was hard on the back, and hard to access food that made its way to the lower part of the freezer. This appliance's “make more ice” feature is very handy if you have company. Controls are in the front of the unit, which makes them easy to access, as well. It is also a very quiet unit.
