I've been very pleased overall with the new LG refrigerator/freezer. Plus: quiet, roomy, nice and cold, looks great. Minus - definitely not fingerprint-proof. It has an exhaust fan on the side, so we had to do some carpentry as it was sliding into an enclosed area. Looks really nice and overall, we are happy with the purchase.

To be honest, I did not want a side-by-side refrigerator. It felt like I was going backwards technically. My previous LG was a bottom drawer freezer, three door model, and I really liked it. Getting a side-by-side gave me the mental picture of my mom in the seventies. However, I'm finding that I love it!! I can see everything in my freezer without digging (as I did in my bottom drawer model), and it makes it more convenient and quicker for me to put away and take out items in the fridge and freezer. I would give this refrigerator 5 stars stars if the ice maker was more robust. If there were more than two of us in this home it could not keep up with us . As it is, with two people living in hot Texas, drinking tea all day, we run out of ice pretty frequently. Yes, even when using the Ice Plus feature. Otherwise, it's a dream appliance. N

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having a refrigerator with a bottom freezer for many years, we decided that a side by side refrigerator would serve us as we get older. Not having to bend to get frozen items makes life a little easier. The clean and attractive front of this unit is very pleasing. The amount of storage space is amazing. We love how the shelves are situated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well. Had to lower the refrigerator setting to 35 deg, because the recommended setting of 37deg did not keep it at 40deg. The Stainless steel cover is very thin, bumping it slightly it ended up with a very visible ding. The fridge drawers have no handles, so the bottom drawer have to be pulled out about 6” from the floor.

Very good unit for the price, took a while once installed to make ice, 36 hours. Even though the stainless steel finish has some sort of anti-finger print finish, the unit still gets them pretty easily. So far very happy with the unit, only sound I hear is the ice maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love it! Deep shelves, easy access to drawers. One thought for your consideration: the upper drawer should have been deeper and extended out to the bottom drawer for more room. Easy to clean exterior.

I bought this to replace my LG that finally died after so many problems. I like the no handle look but don't think it had tall people in mind. There should be door pockets on top of doors instead of just the bottom to open and especially close the doors. The draws have no handles and you have to bend way over to open. I prefer the previous models ice and water dispenser where I didn't have to change selections and the ice dispenser is very slow to drop ice.

I've really enjoyed my new refrigerator so far. It's spacious and so far so great. The only thing I wish it had was like the different molds for the ice cubes. It's a great appliance to have and it's diagnostic's is easy to do and it's simple I give it 10 stars all around

We love our LG front loading washer and dryer. We learned that LG refrigerators were also top rated. We store a lot of fresh vegies as we do juicing and like the large 27 cubic foot capacity and the efficiently designed shelves. Very nice style of design outside too.
