[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] easy to clean, easy to see what's in there as its all glass. my only complaint is they took out the bottom shelf in the drawer and extended the bottom drawer in the refrigerator. i dropped a glass jar on the bottom tray and it shattered completely. Otherwise I I think it has more space than my old one even tho the stats are the same. love the extended space for the drinks. I can put a glass under the ice make and not have to tilt it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about the appliance is good except for the ice maker. It just can't keep up. Started out ok but then started to take longer to fill up the bin. Even with the ice plus setting on. Just had them come out to repair and they replaced the ice unit and it's still the same. Other than that it's a good unit. We are a family of 3 and have this issue. If you're a larger familiy it'd a be a bigger issue i'm sure.

What really made me smile and even more happy with my purchase though is when I broke one of the drawers, I called to order a new one, and the service rep warrantied it for me. That made me feel like the company cares and I'm in good hands here.

My primary requirement was the noise level as the kitchen is next to the bedroom. The LG is very quiet and spacious! I also had to contact support when the ice maker quit working but during that call, received the instructions to reset it and it is working great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I 💕 LOVE this refrigerator but with a thought for improvement: filling a glass w ice sounds like an avalanche! of ice falling (make ice shavings instead of big clumps); and produce, etc., drawers the upper drawer should extend out to meet, or almost, the bottom drawer, making drawer bigger. Other than these two suggestions, I am very happy with the refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is roomy, quiet, easy to clean, and able to keep consistent temperature. However, the temperature adjustments are just approximate. The actual inside temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator sections in the refrigerator we received are always about 2 to 3 degrees colder than the settings. Most of the shelves are fixed except the top shelf in the refrigerator section which has 2 height positions. It would be nicer to have more shelves height adjustments to provide flexibility. I wish the refrigerator door can be opened wider. The bottom drawer often hits the door gasket when it needs to be fully opened. Also because the 2 height positions of the top refrigerator shelf are only different by 2 inches, to install the shelf in the lower position, the shelf cannot be tilted enough to avoid scrapping the shelf with the door and the door gasket. I think it should help significantly if the door is allowed to open wider by about 15 to 20 degrees.

I've been very pleased overall with the new LG refrigerator/freezer. Plus: quiet, roomy, nice and cold, looks great. Minus - definitely not fingerprint-proof. It has an exhaust fan on the side, so we had to do some carpentry as it was sliding into an enclosed area. Looks really nice and overall, we are happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a good decision to buy. Great lighting inside and deep drawers. Looks like a French door refrigerator but is a convenient side by side. Still getting used to no handles but like the soft closing. Ice maker is convenient and doesn't take up shelf space. In door ice/water is tall enough for tall glasses, but is not intuitive to switch from ice to water. The only cons so far are: it doesn't tell you the inside temperature of the unit and I miss a small 3rd drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I like this fridge fairly well. My wife wanted to change form a French door style to this side-by-side. It keeps the temps very stable. The only complaint is that we already broke one of the shelves in the freezer. Dropped a 1lb pork roast onto the bottom freezer shelf and it shattered. This was entirely our fault for dropping the frozen meat, but it's not like we hit the shelf with a hammer. I was surprised that the shelf broke with fairly little impact. Other than that, we have no concerns.
