I bought this about 2 weeks ago. I wish I would've looked at ice maker as I think it's too small and works slow also I have had plastic taste in water and ice. I am awaiting a replacement water filter from lg. they told me to turn off water supply - evacuate all water from fridge and then install new filter and run about 3 gallons thru that I will do this once. If plastic taste is still there I will return the unit to where I purchased. No customer should need to work on a brand new refrigerator !

The touch selector for ice and water is unpredictable. You can select "water" and it just changes to one of two types of ice. You can select "ice cubes" and it switches to water. I'm always having to play with this selector for a few seconds until I successfully get the selection that I chose.

We are so glad that we bought this refrigerator, it was heaven sent. It really was, a widow donated the money to buy this refrigerator for our church kitchen, and it has really been a blessing. We got this refrigerator about 2 months ago. Everything has worked well, from water dispenser to the ice maker. Since we just went through a very hot spell, it was great the amount of ice it produced. The delivery and installation was done equally as well. We have also been very pleased with the features of this model and would highly recommend it.

I love this refrigerator, I bought it for my mother. Shelf break. I have extended warranty and I keep getting mixed signals from the store about the insurance. I believe I contacted the vendor and they said that my shelf is covered but the store says his cosmetic? How can a broken shelf be cosmetic? I need real answers and I'm not getting them here!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator early March. I am very pleased with all the features and space in both the fridge side and freezer. Much more interior space as previous refrigerator but it fit into the same physical space of old one. This is the 3rd lg appliance I have purchased. I didn't plan to buy just lg products but after research and viewing lg ended up being the best products for my needs.

Good fridge however I was very disappointed because in the picture it looks matte black, which is why I bought it and was willing to wait over a month for delivery. It's NOT matte black. Also when they delivered it, it had no plastic coating that you peel off whatsoever so there were several scrapes on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about the appliance is good except for the ice maker. It just can't keep up. Started out ok but then started to take longer to fill up the bin. Even with the ice plus setting on. Just had them come out to repair and they replaced the ice unit and it's still the same. Other than that it's a good unit. We are a family of 3 and have this issue. If you're a larger familiy it'd a be a bigger issue i'm sure.
