I buy this ground beef package at every Sam's visit. Cut each loaf in half then vacuum seal each pound and freeze. Would like a 70/30 option for smash burgers but this works for everything we use ground beef for.

There is no way this has 12% Fat based on my recent purchase and not sure how it is measured to say only 12% Fat for such a large packet. I purchased it to make hamburgers with it but later decide to just make chilli and the surprise of the amount of water Fat in this package was unbelievable, I wish I taken a photo of that!. Well, I was able to drain all that Fat but when it drains I was left with rock-like hard pcs from the Fat in the pan (so I picked up a few and taken the attached photo). Of course this not going to change my mind about Sam's quality and service, it could be I just got a packet of hard Fat and seems like bad stuff for anyone.! This is not a complaint by all means and would be buying a similar packet again to see if this happens one more time before I judge. So for those going to pan fry with Chilli should be more aware of what is in the pan.

One reason I have been a Sam's member for over 20 years has been the hamburger meat. Seems since the Pandemic struck the quality has gone downhill. I wish I had not made patties out of the last batch. The taste is not there anymore. Now I have to start shopping around to find the quality I want.

I don't know why you are selling this instead of the 90/10 we loved, but i can tell you I do not like this meat and I am looking for another 90/10 ground beef like this used to be. There is a strange unpleasant odor coming off of this and the taste is not good. I use what I have bought for chili and spaghetti ONLY, And all those little white dots you see must be water or something because the meat shrinks terribly. All the stores in this town have started to do things very much like this also, so I will have to go to Wegman's in Frederick, this should never happen. Probably Corp. greed.

I've been buying this from Sam's club for years Never a problem. This time the meat looked a little different darker. I froze it anyway just like I always do. Yesterday, I went to make chili with it. When I cooked it, it didn't smell quite right and it had a sweet taste. Threw it away and all the rest in freezer. $58 down the drain. Think I'll just use local grocery stores from now on. Really a Shame.

This meat has questionable pieces in it. Not sure what it is, could be grizzle or fat, but to me it looks tubal. It's shape is spherical, and looks like a vein tube possibly? I don't know, either way I get grossed out easily and have been trying to keep myself from dry heaving at this point.

I had 4 cups of grease out of this ground beef and suppose to be 88/12 but more like 60/40
