By far this ground chuck is the best and the easiest to prepare. And has a decent lean to fat ratio. Delious! Unless speak about the packaging as well, large packages, and you can break it down and separate it and freeze it. This is budget saving

I’ve been buying this pack for years but the meat was different today-larger grind and did not taste like it used to. I will be buying ground hamburger meat somewhere else in the future.

I like to prepare 8 oz. hamburgers. So I alway try to purchase ground beef in a quantity that will produce a set number of half pounders. For example, 4 1/2 pounds of beef should yield 9 burgers. But it never works out that way. I'm always shorted on the last burger. It'll turn out to be a 5-ouncer. And this short weight happens regularly and without exception every time that I purchase ground beef at Sam's Club. It is a repeated experience that doesn't engender trust.

I have been buying this meat for years but this last time when I cooked it (I try to get even lbs so when I divide it out the lbs are even to freeze in one lb bags), it had a one lb of liquid and fat drained off of it. I say one lb is because it filled up a 16 oz jar of spaghetti sauce jar that I used to throw away the liquid in for the trash. Any other time it has never been like this before. I will be looking for meat on sale at other stores to get a good deal on meat.

The meat I bought was beautiful and it smelled fine, but when I cooked it, the aroma was awful. My husband said it smelled like cow manure. The “sell by” date was a couple days out, so I have no idea what was wrong. I ended up throwing it all away because we were afraid to eat it.

When I started cooking this meat, the smell was so horrible, that I threw it away. My husband came in & asked what is that awful smell in the house. We had to open up the doors & light candles to get rid of the smell
