Very tender salmon but holy cow, it is extremely off putting with how strong the artificial smoke tastes. The whole family couldn't even finish our meal with it, it is so overpowering. Very artificial

If I could leave zero stars I totally would, absolutely disgusting. Horrible odor and over 1,000 grams of salt is unreal. Save your money don't buy this.

Unfortunately I cannot review the taste of this product. I purchased this Arctic Fish Salmon in the Freehold, NJ store on Nov. 4, 2025. A few days later when we were getting ready to open one of the four packages we noticed the sticker with the expiration date on the bottom: 10/27/25. That is over a week before I purchased it. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I've walked past these expecting mediocre salmon but I noticed a sell-by date price reduction on a package and snagged it. Wow! Tons of smoke flavor, even more than I get on salmon with my smoke tubes and Traeger. Juicy and not dry too! I like it plain but have also enjoyed it on slices of cucumber with cream cheese, capers, and a little sprig of dill. I will definitely buy these bites again. Like one reviewer noted, eat the package with the sell by sticker last as none of the other packages are marked with sell by dates.

The salmon is very tasty with a good solid smoke flavor......... BUT THERE'S SO MUCH SALT ON IT that all nutritional value just might be negated by the increased risk of issues as a result of TOO MUCH SALT! Heart edema salt incited inflammation water weight retention just saying can you please decrease the salt during the smoking procedure or do I need to go back to uncooked salmon and cut it myself?

The bite sized pieces make it so easy to just pop in your mouth or take along as a snack
