Extremely tough too hard to chew out of four steaks I think I eat almost one the rest of all went in the garbage

Compared to other stores close to me in Athens, this is some of the best meat I have had. I will definitely come back and stock up more.

Steaks were unusually fatty and had a lot of gristle. I buy them all the time and this was the first bad ones i got.

Like MOST butcher shops, Sam’s hides the junky, inedible gristle behind the labels or on the bottom. 2 of 4 steaks were actually decent.

For the money, about half of the steaks were inedible. I think that is way too much for what they charge per pound.

Though the price was decent, the meat was rather tough and full of gristle making it very hard to chew.

This is by far some of the worst steaks I’ve ever bought. It was extremely tough and dry. I cooked it to med rare and it was disgusting.

Meat was tough, I tenderized with meat mallet it was barely chewable, ended up making a stew out of the rest.

They were horrible They were tough and chewy. I tried cooking them several different ways and nothing worked. Do not buy.

I was actually quite impressed with the cuts of meat here and it was very high grade cut it with a butterknife
