This is a very sturdy hose cart. I feel it will last for years. smooth action. only complaint is it it a bit too fluid in movement. if you stop reeling it backtracks. But, that is a small annoyance as it reels very smoothly. Wheels are great. Great cart for the money

We bought one of these a couple years ago. It may not be the best unit out there, but for the price it works well for our purpose, and bought a second one recently. To minimize rusting, they are store in our barn during the winter. Each holds 100 foot of 3/4" hose, with room to spare. Replaced the short feed hoses with high volume quick connects, makes it easy to daisey chain them when we need more than 100 feet of hose. Originally we had one unit with close to 200 feet of 3/4" hose on it, splitting to two units with 100 feet each makes it much easier to handle for us, and the second unit is stored 100 feet away from the first.

I bought this and it was delivered yesterday. Very cheaply made. Not worth the money. The handle was missing the snap buttons on both sides. We took two metal screws so we could attach the handle. The hose fitting was crimped and wouldn't tighten because both pieces turned and continued to leak. It took forever to remove the hose fitting because both pieces turned. I finally was able to get my pliers on the edge of the hose male fitting and remove it. I cut the hose fitting off and got a repair from Lowes with a hose clamp and was able to tighten without leaking. The bearing ends are made with light weight metal to hold the bearings and doesn't hold well. I modified the problems and now it's working. Too much of a pain to return. Don't buy this! Wasted half of my day dealing with this. I'm attaching some pictures. I have a video but no place to upload.

We've had several of these hose reels in the past and were very pleased with them. The newest ones we ordered in June 2022 have a serious design flaw that renders these reels completely unusable. When you pull the hose out, the hose bib connector disconnects EVERY TIME causing water to spray everywhere. Returning both of the ones we got for a refund. Don't waste your money & time. Photo of older model "shield" that prevents connector hose from untwisting. This part is missing on the newer model.

I just bought this hose cart for a 125 ft hose that I have. The cart is pretty good quality, and I got it for $59 at Sam's which is a great price for carts like this. The issue I had was the included 6 ft hose (that connects the cart to the water faucet) did not have a rubber gasket. I was not sure if that was meant to be like that, so I tried it as-is. Water leaked. Not too bad, but not ideal. I had a few rubber gaskets that I had used on other hose accessories so I put one in the hose and it worked fine, no leaking. I'll continue to use like that. The hose wraps on the cart easily and it's a great option to be able to control it and move it from place to place instead of fighting it. The build quality is good. It took about 15 minutes to put together. No cheap plastic pieces. I think it will hold up fine, but I've only had for a few days. My initial rating is 3/5 stars.

This cart is terrible. I purchased the previous model ~5 years ago and it was great. The short hose to the faucet can not be changed because the faucet connector spins when you reel in your hose causeing a mess. Also every time you you finish reeling in you hose the cart spins backyards causing a birds nest. Terrible design....do not buy..

We bought this item in July 2022; it arrived with parts missing. In addition to that, the main spool and bracket that connects it to the connecting hose is fused together, so there's no way to roll up a hose without unscrewing the connecting hose. I don't know if this is a design fault or extremely shoddy workmanship. They should have also caught the missing parts before boxing it and shipping it as well.

Parts of the product rust after first contact with water--will need to accommodate with rubber coat spray or rust-oleum or comparable solution to extend lifespan. Hose connection does spin to a certain degree with drum wheel. A connected hose will likely spin loose/tight during reel wind/unwind, depending on direction of hose wrap on the drum. I use a quick-connect to accommodate this by winding/unwinding total length, then connect with quick-connect. But it is frustrating for the price and expectation of the product. This is easily visible if there is a demo on the showroom floor; and one knows what to look for.

It was a bad sign to have loose nuts rolling around the box (from wheels). Signs of rust on the components from day I opened the box. It was cheaply welded together. Components are out of alignment but poor tolerances of the pieces meant it would fit together, just imperfectly. Then after all that, it leaked where the hose meets that reel. Changed washers, tried different tightnesses, different hoses even, nope. The fitting where the hose matches the reel was poorly constructed and leaks. Returned, garbage

I just tried this hose reel cart for the first time last week and it is terrible! As other reviewers have mentioned, the connector line that goes to the hose bib rotates as you wind or unwind the hose. Even worse, the connector will literally disconnect the connector line from the hose reel and you then have to wind or unwind the hose to re-attach it. It appears to be related to a design flaw in the clamp that holds the reel to the cart. It is going back at this price point.
