This hose reel is the most substantial and best built one with the lowest price that you'll find online or in any big box store. The basket holds various hose nozzles & the no-air tires make it easy to maneuver around the flower beds. We like it so much that we bought two: one for the front yard and one for the back yard.

Nice Hose Reel - Well Built, with good metal fittings. Drum is arranged so that first hose connection is accessible without unreeling the whole contents of the reel (can tighten the connection even after the hose is all on the reel). Reel will hold plenty of hose for most people's domestic use. Wheels are "never flat" which is a BIG IMPROVEMENT over previous versions of this cart (or comparable carts) that have tube-style tires and don't hold pressure after a couple of years. Comes in a compact box, and is easily assembled. It's so nice I gave it to my wife as a birthday present. We are still married after 30 days.

The tires and connections are better than the previous carts but the reel needs to have bigger end pieces to keep the hose on the cart. You can get 240’ of hose on here but as soon as you start to pull it off the cart the hose slips over the end of the reel and gets caught up. Once you get about 75’ off the reel it works okay.

My title says it all. Sam's has an excellent value in this hose reel with great pricing compared to competing units. The assembly was fast and easy with no odd or frustrating problems. The tires are flat-free (I assume they are foam filled) while competing units have pneumatic tires. (which are always destined to go flat on a cart, like on a wheelbarrow or other yard equipment, that you store for half a year between seasons.) It cleans up the unwieldy mess of a 100 ft hose in our yard and the hose can be unrolled or stored in a few seconds. Also it looks charming sitting in the yard, like I'm a real gardener or something. :) Get it!

We bought one of these a couple years ago. It may not be the best unit out there, but for the price it works well for our purpose, and bought a second one recently. To minimize rusting, they are store in our barn during the winter. Each holds 100 foot of 3/4" hose, with room to spare. Replaced the short feed hoses with high volume quick connects, makes it easy to daisey chain them when we need more than 100 feet of hose. Originally we had one unit with close to 200 feet of 3/4" hose on it, splitting to two units with 100 feet each makes it much easier to handle for us, and the second unit is stored 100 feet away from the first.

This is a well-made product. However, I didn't plan ahead when I bought it-the way it's configured-I'm going to have to create a spot to store it because it's turned the wrong way and I won't be able to wind it up without pulling it out into the yard.

Well made. Holds a lot of hose and is easy to pull off amount of hose needed and even my six year old granddaughter could reel it back in with ease. It has accomplished my goal of getting all those hoses up off the lawn. I bought two and it took two people about an hour to assemble both. I would recommend a cordless drill, if you have one, especially if you will use the hose caddy a lot.

It's a nice hose reel cart but the connection from the hose to the cart is cheaply made and immediately leaks. It sprays water out of it so you always get sprayed and wet when turning on the water. The rest of the cars is nice and works the way it should

I purchased this online after not finding anything satisfactory locally. For what it cost and being Members Mark brand, I honestly expected more. It’s okay but not that sturdy. The wheel cotter pin attachments are laughable—we plan to get more appropriate sized and sturdier clips when we go to town again. The handle also seems very wobbly and since it attaches with push-in metal button things there is no way to tighten it. We needed a hose reel immediately and don’t live close enough to Sam’s to take it back right away so I’ll probably keep it, but I think it’s not really any more sturdy than the standard plastic ones. The only advantage to this model is the foam-filled or solid wheels, which did allow me to roll it across the yard more easily.

We have about 200 feet of house that we have just laying on the ground and this reel works great for our need to get the hose off the ground. It is easy to roll up and take out. Two problems we have with it though. One the reel is too low for my old over sixty year old back to bend down and crank up the hose, I wish it was about six inches higher. Second, the hose winds up from the bottom. I wish the connector was headed in the opposite direction so that I can roll up the hose from the top of the reel and not the bottom. Other than those two items, the hose reel is great to use and keep using for our plants in the back yard.
