We bought this last summer. We put a metal roof on top. We love the electrical outlets. We plugged in lights and wired a ceiling fan in the middle.

I ordered by outdoor pergola over a year ago. I have to say that is was the best choice I made in purchasing this item. It makes my backyard beautiful. I love having gatherings especially at night with the out lights that decorate the pergola.

This is very doable. I'm a semi handy guy with basic tool. i was able to do this myself with the help of my wife and son (they just held things for me) I very pleased with the quality and the outcome.
