But, the pergola has enhanced our patio presence that we have had people all over the country who want to join us. So, we're looking forward to the season and getting the most out of outdoor living in Wisconsin.

I looked around for months and this one was the perfect one for the price. The wood is sturdy. It did take my husband I a whole day to build in the Florida sun so be ready. The Instructions were a little complicated to understand in the beginning but once you get the hang of it it gets pretty easy. We did run into the problem that one of the cross bars on top didn’t fit so we got the jigsaw out and cut a little piece so that wasn’t a big deal. I definitely recommend that you double check when Placing the crossbars on the roof in the correct direction because we didn’t realize it till later that it had the slot for the screws to go in and we end up having to Measure the distance between them and making o...

All the big parts fit great with very little finagling. The top top slats were screwed in with wood screws and didn't line up very well, so I recommend snapping a chalk line. I plan to install an inner tarp/curtain anyway, so we won't see it. I love the electrical outlet included, which came with a mounting template, so good there. Now for the negatives. First, it's cedar, so the wood is soft. You need to have a tarp down or the finish will get scratched on concrete. Second, the "feet" that you use to secure it to the ground. I don't know how to complain appropriately, but you'll see how hard this would be. Not sure what to do about it, but let's just say I'...

We downloaded the bilt app and reviewed the directions. Not very clear on the printed directions. We put the 1st part together, when we were putting the 2nd part together we found that the 1st part was backwards. After that everything went together great. Needed 4 persons to stand the ends up to put the top part on. Took about 12-14 hours, not 5 like the directions say. Pretty easy and it looks beautiful. Great addition to our backyard.

The kit arrived with some damage and missing hardware, however , the company expedited sending the damaged part and hardware. The Ceder wood is really a beautiful shade of dark brown with a slight hint of redwood. I applied Thompsons water seal to all the boards before the assembly. It took two people about 4.5 hours to complete the pergola. It is really beautiful, love that the hardware is all black, and that the corner posts are 6 inches square, and look very substantial . We anchored it on a concrete patio by out pool, and it looks amazing.
