Surprisingly easy to assemble. I mostly completed it by myself in about 7 hours. Good instructions. My only complaint is that the 6x6 posts are laminated, and not solid pieces of wood. Hopefully it holds up over time.

This is a great set. It arrives in two long boxes. There was 2 of us putting it together and it took us about 7hrs. We did need to get our son to help hold when we got it up. It wasn’t hard at all just time consuming. The end result is awesome.

It’s beautiful and perfect location close to the lake behind our house. It was not that difficult to install with two people. The only challenge was to make the foundation where the pergola was installed.

Easy to put together with two people. Just do not tighten all the bolts until you have it in place and have it all level. If you do you'll end up loosening them later. We added a tin roof. Going to be used for grilling.

Pergola arrived way earlier than they said it would. Not easy to install but you know what you are doing it can be done with some help. Otherwise just pay for installation. All my neighbors love it in my backyard.

Took my husband and I about 12 hrs to build and place (were both in our late 60’s). We went slowly and carefully. Directions were clear and easily followed. It looks beautiful.

Took three strong guys and an intelligent woman to read directions to assemble in about four hours. Sturdy and solid. Makes our empty concrete patio a real outdoor retreat

We love the pergola it was easy to install with 3 people, the only thing I would recommend is that Sam’s finds a different carrier to deliver product. Product was left at the end of my driveway by the trash can which hadn’t been picked up yet.

The color of the wood is very nice but there were a lot of pieces that were warped, bent or a little too short. The instructions also needs to specify in more detail direction of some boards. As a result we had to drill new holes on opposite sides because we were close to being finished before discovering an issue and did not want to dismantle it.

I was very impressed with the quality of the pergola. I was initially disappointed that my local Sam’s Club was *out of stock* of the pergola I wanted, but by simply calling the Customer Service line, the representative was able to order one for me. She assured me that I would be contacted about delivery and assembly. Again, I was suspicious, but within a week, the pergola was delivered and the next week it was assembled. I will definitely purchase another item from Sam’s Club on line that needs to be delivered and assembled.
