Just wish the wood was in a little better condition, a few pieces flaking and chipped.

If you're thinking about buying this pergola, think again. Poorly made. Very unstable after put together. If I have it a good shove I'm sure it'll all come down. Also a lot of the top pieces, the purlins, don't match up. Some are cut too short so there are gaps. I was thinking about building my own but saw this in sale and thought it be great but was wrong.

Don't buy

A nice addition to our backyard patio.  Pay attention to ALL of the alignment holes, not just for the nuts and bolts, but where a wood screw would eventually go!  Found myself going a little too fast and not realizing that pre-drilled holes didn’t line up where they should have!  Slow down and you can figure it out.  I did add additional 1x1’s on the top to close the space between them.  Stained to match and created more shade. Hung a strand of party lights and is a really nice place to hang out around our table for 8.  I like the power strip addition, includes 3 USB charging ports, very nice!
