Bought 4 Prime NY Strip Steaks $88. For a Special dinner and they were tough and not good at all. I might be done with steak at Sam’s.

For the price, not as tender as I had hoped. I won't buy these again, the filets are better in my opinion.

The prime beef is very tender and tastes delicious! It's so nice getting great restaurant quality steaks for such a good price.

The quality of the “Prime” grade steaks at Sam’s Club has significantly decreased over recent months. The meat is tough and clearly not prime grade I’m not sure what’s happening, but it’s back to the local butchers for me.

This is not prime and it never looks like the picture above. In the 2 pack there is constantly one ok steak and one that has no business in a prime section. Every time I go I see this one bad and one ok. They are never trimmed properly and often even though it looks like it might be prime it is very chewy and tough. I have been cooking strips for 40 years I know what I am doing on a grill. I have been disappointed then I give them another try and another. No more tries. They let me down every time anymore. These should not be marked prime. The picture they provide above shows they know what a prime looks like they just don't sell them like that.
