This steak meets all three "T's in steak Tough Tasteless Terrible and over priced. 50% gristle makes for THE nastiest...THE worst steak I have ever had. Recommendation don't buy. Save your money.

Not bad, but certainly not as tasty as a tenderloin filet. I settled for these after experiencing sticker shock from the price of the filets. Unfortunately Sam’s has joined most others and increased their prices with the tariff excuse. Their prices had almost doubled going north of eighty dollars for a pack of four. Guess I’ll follow the cow’s advice and “Et Mor Chicken”

The steaks are always wonderful at Sam’s. So delicious!

I spoke with a butcher at Sam's and ordered 6 one inch thick prime NY strip steaks. They were ready and trimmed with nice marbling when I picked them up. (Kudos to the butcher!) I cooked them per my routine method but found they lacked the flavor I have come to expect from a prime NY strip steak. Generally, I am very pleased with meat purchases from Sam's, but not this time. I was disappointed and embarrassed when I served them to my dinner guests.

Very disappointing after spending more money on these "Prime" strip steaks. They were very grainy and had many blood arteries running through them. They were chewy and poor taste in general. If Sam's had had the regular NY Strip steaks in stock- I would've bought those instead.

Paid the higher price for prime & chose the best pieces that were in the prime section (there wasn’t a lot to choose from) but the meat was more like a choice cut rather than prime; there was gristle and the meat was not tender — very disappointed because I served this to guests at a holiday party. I had hoped that if I cut off the gristle after cooking, the remaining meat would be tender but that wasn’t the case.

love these steaks - the marbling is perfect - however I didnt rate it a 5 because the thickness was not the same throughout.

great quality when i cooked it it was super juicey and tender that it was melting in my mouth highly recommend product to everyone!!

The prime beef is very tender and tastes delicious! It's so nice getting great restaurant quality steaks for such a good price.
