We buy the choice strip steaks all the time and I have to says choice is WAY better. The prime is $3.00 more per pound but we thought we would splurge for July 4th. They were awful! We cooked all four steaks medium rare and they were difficult to cut. We all sat at the table chewing, chewing, chewing. I wondered how long I would have to chew before I felt comfortable trying to swallow.

Sam's Club really upped their beef. I always thought they lacked quality beef until recently. I read they just launched prime quality beef selections at the beginning of 2019. I will say from experience these steaks were some of the best steaks I ever ate. Now my wife and I are addicted to prime steaks and at these prices I pick up a few every weekend.

The best steaks are not at the restaurant.
