Tough and not very good. Smoked 10 hours and had to put into a stew to make edible.

I cook brisket every year for Christmas. The brisket I got from Sams was tough meat. A brisket should be extremely tender and fall apart with a fork after slow cooking. I understand Sams is no longer buying their meat from Cargill. I won’t be buying any more brisket from Sams.

We love the Members Mark brisket. I have bought it numerous times through out the year for parties, holidays, and family get togethers. Price is little above average and is not the problem for quality and great tasting meat. The only issue is paying for 1/2 lb - 1 lb of fat that had to be trimmed and discarded.

Their flats look a lot like packers. They need to be trimmed further, and more fat taken off. These flats are still a lot of work.

Looked good in store. I wasn't disappointed when I went home and unpacked and prepped it. Smoked it for 10 hours and it came out perfect. Very pleased.

Price is fair, we don’t get much of a choice in the matter. Everything is market value, beef included
