I have worn these shorts for several years, and they have been my favorite. I purchases my last pair earlier this year and they too were great! I am 6'5", and the tall size has always had a 12" inseam and fit great. Just received the same shorts in the Khaki, same size in Tall, and they are only 11" inseam. Too short! Seems like things have changed at EB, no true tall sizes, at least if you are over 6'1". Hopefully you will get the message as I am seeing more and more comments regarding this. And at least note the inseam on tall sizes as well so people don't order them if they are not long enough.

I won't buy any other shorts from here on out. The quality is fantastic, the stretchy material makes it super comfortable, it wicks away moisture and even small amounts of spilled food, and the side pockets are deep (I hate it when things fall out of my pockets when I'm driving). And the back pockets are zippered, so you can safely store things in there. My only issues with these shorts are: 1. Price. I can only afford to buy these when they're on sale, especially since the Tall sizes are $10 more than the regular. 2. Length. I love Eddie Bauer because they have tall sizes, but sometimes I don't think they really understand what it means to be tall. It means our torsos are longer and are legs are longer. Adding an inch to an article of clothing that fits someone who's 5"+ shorter doesn't really equate. Please make your clothes accordingly, especially if we're paying a good amount more than those who buy the "regular" sizes.

I told my son he would absolutely love these, and he does! I hate when I'm always RIGHT! My son is an outdoor kinda guy. He competes on his mountain bike and loves to hike. My son called me TWICE to thank me for the black and light kaki shorts! Another Grand Slam for me. Thank You, Eddie Bauer for making my birthday shopping so easy!

He works in our yard in Florida heat in a pair and doesn't complain of sweat or heat as he does in some heavier fabrics. These aren't noisy like some other non-cotton fabrics can be, and they fit him well despite him being able to move. We ordered another pair for vacation he likes them so much.

it was great to get shorts made for a tall man - the extra little bit of leg length is really appreciated! these are also really comfortable because of the bit of the stretch in fabric. I hope these last as along as I think they will - I should have ordered several pairs!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Similar to another review I wrote for the new amphibian tall size shorts, these simply are not long enough for a tall person. 1) Rise and inseam on the 36" tall size are NOT long enough for tall people. I am 6'4" and 200lbs. I wear the shorts just below my natural waistline as described on webstire. The rise while standing comes to almost 2" above my knee; upon sitting goes mid-thigh. The crotch is not as constricting as the new amphibian shorts. Further, the waist/seat fit is more appropriate than the amphibian shorts, not nearly as snug on me. Again, kudos to a modern fabric and awesome maroon color. Just PLEASE go back to the more generous tall size cuts for these shorts!

I love the shorts. This was the second pair returned for the same issue. In both cases credit was given and a new pair supplied.

These shorts have formal good looks to them. I will wear them for special events with people I care about.

Since EB does not have choices for larger women, I tried these shorts and they fit great! No Gap in back.

I like this wine so much it is like a staple in my house. I like Chianti, but this is by far the best Chianti I have had.
