It is gentle and safe to use on my baby's clothing, and perfect to use on my clothing and the rest of my family's clothing. It has a clean smell but is no way overpowering. You smell just clean. This bottle has the perfect amount of loads, it will last me a very long time. I highly recommend this to anyone that has a baby, or really any child or anyone that can use a gentle detergent. I will be continuing to purchase this as I've become obsessed with it.

Dreft is the ONLY bbrand of laundry detergent that I EVER used to was my babies laundry. It is the #1 pediatrician recommended baby detergent that is specifically formulated for babies sensitive skin. The hypoallergenic formula is tough on stains like formula spit up but gentle enough to continuously use on my babies and children's laundry. I really enjoy how its formulated to use in my "he" washing machine as well. Dreft Stage 1 Newborn Liquid Detergent always leaves the best "baby" smell on all of the cute baby clothes and bedding that I use it on. I 100% recommend Dreft brand for its hypoallergenic, pediatricians recommend formula that tough of stains while leaving a baby soft touch to all my laundry needs.

I would definitely recommend if you have a baby with ultra sensitive skin, I don't think it will make much of a difference if the child had normal skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I were truly blessed in Sept with the arrival of my beautiful twin granddaughters and of course no other detergent but Dreft Stage 1 Liquid Detergent is what we use to clean their clothes with.Dreft has been around many years and I know of four generations in my family will not use anything else.The clothes come out smelling so sweet and then placing them on the babies has twice the sweetness. It is a very gentle detergent .You can always trust Dreft.

So, when my baby was born I was looking for the perfect detergent for my child’s clothes. I hit the jackpot with this detergent! It smells so good and gets my baby’s clothes very clean!

My daughter uses this because my 2 year old grandson’s skin breaks out from other laundry detergents. This is really gentle, it cleans well and I love the clean scent. I used to use it when my girls were babies. It is kind of expensive, but you can’t put a price tag on the health of babies skin.

This detergent gets my babies clothes clean while leaving a good scent. These are small containers and I thought I would go through them fast but my baby is 4 months old and I just finished one bottle. My baby has had no issues with this as far as skin sensitivities.
