[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting ready for my baby has been my priority now that the time is so near, but getting the best things for her has been the hard part. Ive heard a lot about Dreft being gentle and effective for newborns so I decided to try it and I have to admit that it was impressive. First of all Was the smell, wow it made me feel like my baby was already with me. I wanted to make sure the clothes were extra clean so i washed on gentle with the extra rinse then washed again without the extra rinse. After the first wash the clothes came out with a very soft smell of baby then the second it was stronger but not overwhelming. it was perfect, the clothes felt so soft and smelled so good I definitely wanted to wash everything else. I cant wait for my baby to get in to her new clothes and i know that it will be safe and gentle for her to wear them.

Please bring back original scent to the Dreft product line; consumers could choose between the original and the new formula depending on their needs. I have tried the scent boosters with fragrance free formula, and it is not the same. I will purchase Dreft again when original scent is available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this detergent while washing my baby's clothes and I really like it. It's gentle on his skin and does a great job washing. If you are a first-time mom always stick with detergents that are clear, have no dyes and are unscented.

Although it cleaned the clothes well, the odor was very strong and way too much for me and my kids. Packaging was also nice but still don’t think I would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After washing with this detergent, the smell stays on the items. It has a baby smell to it, I know rude doesn't make sense but it smells like babies would smell. It cleans the clothing items good and I'm happy.

we use this laundry detergent for our daughter from newborn until now, she does not have any skin problems. so far her skin has not had a brake out or have any bumps. this detergent keeps her clothes fresh and clean.however if your baby clothes end up having some type of stain, you might need to use a separate stain remover. I believe that they have one for this same brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dreft - Dreft Stage 1: Newborn Liquid Detergent is the best baby detergent. I always wash my babys clothes before I put it on him. My baby has sensitive skin and this detergent is the only one that doesnt make him break out. The detergent makes my babys clothes feel softer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dreft Stage 2: Active Baby Liquid Detergent worked well for my family. I washed my 15 month old granddaughter’s cloth with it. It was very pleasant smelling and gently cleaned the clothes. It was non irritating to my granddaughter’s skin.

And I was impressed how well it cleaned - my first thought had been that if a detergent was gentle enough to be used for babies, how well could it clean? I was wrong. My clothes came out looking just as good as my normal name brand detergent. I don't have sensitive skin, but if I did, I'd make this my go to detergent. The only thing I did miss was that laundry smell. If you need a good detergent to get out hard stains while being gentle to skin, this is definitely one to try!

However it did do a great job cleaning the clothes and suds up okay, I prefer to see the soap sud up more, so I know it is doing its job. The clothes came out soft and smelled good, just to strong. I had no issues with it bothering the babies skin.
