I am not normally a sweet eater but this is the best cake I've ever eaten. It has the taste of a chocolate mousse and I love it. It's now a staple on my shopping list.

This is the closest thing to satisfy my craving for Olive Garden chocolate lasagna cake. It's $10 a slice there or I can get this whole bar for less than $17 at Sams. I used to decorate cakes and I am very picky on cake. This one is great. I searched and bought many cakes trying to find something similar. Spent lots of money. Wish I would have tried this first! I have to watch myself I will eat almost the whole thing in a day. I warned you!

My first mistake was buying this bar cake through pickup. It was two days old and you could tell. I did not expect this since the description says the cake is made daily. The texture of the mousse and cake was just off. The mousse was more gelatinous and the cake was dry-most likely due to age. Still within sell by date but not worth the $ or calories sadly

For an expensive dessert, it would really be nice if the container (tray/lid) fitted together to keep the cake fresh. There is not fit involved with the lid/tray. The tray is a coated cardboard. The top is a great quality (like the round dessert covers). It appears to me there should be a tray of the same material/quality as the top. The last time I bought a similar item, it was the same issue. Disappointed and won't buy a product shaped like this again. The cakes (standard round multi-layer type) have great covers/lids that lock in place. You can hear a click when this container/lid snap together.
