I have purchased more than 7 boxed memory foam from Sam’s or Costco. This mattress was packaged beautifully, sprang up when opened and had far less of the chemical smell than previous mattresses. I gave it 24 hours to rise, but the morning after I slept on it I had new pain in my hips, knees, elbows and shoulders...I’m 5’5, 130 lbs and 40 years old. This type of pain was a first! I tried it again for 2 hours the next night and moved to the sofa. For whatever reason this particular members mark hotel collection mattress was too firm for me. In the store I sat on Serta’s bed in a box version and it was far softer but was unclear if that was its composition or if it had been broken in by other consumers. I purchased the members mark mattress because they produce great products and I wanted to give them a shot. Luckily I was able to track down my receipt from my previous mattress also purchased at Sam’s by Night Therapy and ordered it as a replacement. I purchased a mattress bag to protect the members mark mattress in the return process, but when I called to double check they were accepting return due to covid they told me Fed Ex would pick it up! The associate on the phone couldn’t have been more helpful immediately credited my card and arranged Fed Ex pick-up 2 days later. I had a terrific experience even though this bed didn’t work out for me!

This mattress was labeled "Medium- Firm", which is the firmness I was looking for. Not only is it not firm at all, it feels like a soft mattress!! It's as though it got mixed up and thrown in the wrong box... terrible. I'm trying to make it work because I got rid of the packaging and can't take it back, but it's awful to not get a good night's sleep. I gave it one star instead of zero because I appreciated the convenience of being able to transport it without a truck. But I've regretted this purchase every night and morning. Buyer beware!

Brought matress home, took it out of the box, unfolded it, and then start to cut the plastic off of the mattress while it inflated. Stopped immediately when I noticed there was mold/mildew growing on the bottom of the mattress. I was very happy that we had not already taken our previous mattress to the curb. The end of the mattress that had the mold/mildew also did not inflate correctly by the time we took it back to Sams Club the next day. At least the return was easy!

I purchased this same mattress in Feb of 2022. I liked it so much I ordered another one in Jan of 2023 for another bed. The mattress I received bunches up on the top and will not flatten out. Sam's sent me a replacement and after sleeping on it for one night, the replacement mattress had the exact same bunching as the other mattress. Something changed in the manufacturing process of this mattress. Sam's Customer Service has been excellent to work with. Both defective mattresses will be picked up. I will not be purchasing another mattress in a box. I do not recommend this mattress.

We purchased this mattress for our guest room. My in laws stayed with us and like the mattress so much they bought one for themselves when they got home. They said they didn't have any pains the week they were with us and noticed a difference immediately when they got home.

Bought two of these for our guest room and the guests were very pleased, even after multiple night’s sleep. We ordered the Ultra Plush version and were worried they might be too soft, but not at all. Very supportive. Excellent beds for the price. Plus the twin-XL makes a King size, if we elect to attach two frames together.

Sadly this is so lumpy and even allowing an extra week hoping that it would expand more did not work to fix this. I had to return and exchange for a mattress that did not come in a box. The idea is a good one if they can prevent the top of the mattress from the bunching up.

I was iffy buying a mattress in a box, also reading reviews that said it was too soft. I went ahead and bit the bullet and purchased it and my husband and I are super satisfied!! We are side, stomach and back sleepers and this bed was not to soft. It’s the perfect amount of softness and it keeps you cool throughout the night. For reference, I’m 26 and my husband is 30. We have no problem getting in and out of the bed. Sometimes we prefer to lay in bed and watch movies rather than the couch because we can super cozy and comfy in this bed.

The bed shipped quickly! Once unwrapped from the plastic, the bed came to full size almost immediately. We did not have any one sleep in the bed until two or three weeks later and when my sister did she said it was very comfortable. I was surprised because she is very picky, but she even ask for the information on the bed so she can purchase one for her new home. It is a nice quality bed. I highly recommend this bed.

The mattress was not comfortable. It felt like sleeping on a bunch of pillows stuffed inside a casing. Lumpy and no support. I love Sam’s but had to return this. The only requirement for the return to store was to wrap in plastic. Easy return no questions or hassle.
