The problem I had with the regular bentgo is not feeling like ice packs keep the food cold through the thick plastic, so this is the perfect solution. Have used a few times and the kids love them. More space in the compartments than the regular bentgo as well. My only issue is orange things seem to stain the grey area. Once it was carrots and then it was cheddar cheese the next. I assume it’s just a cosmetic issue, but for the price, I would hope they would stay looking nice as well.

The bag is of great quality and is as pictured. It feels very sturdy and my son is in love with the design. He will be using it when he commences school in September and it is spacious enough for all the materials and supplies he will need to transport.

Almost perfect, but a few issues I have come across. Overall, the lunch bag portion works... literally if it is a Bentgo product being used! If you need to use an ice box and use a box that is thicker, it gets rather cozy. Another thing is even when using the Bentgo boxes in the lunch bag area, the zipper tends to snag on the plastic materials. Not sure if it's a QA issue with mine. Overall, my little girl loves this backpack. We tried it out on a long weekend trip and she looks forward to using it when she starts Kindergarten and continues to bring her lunch with her.

My boys were having trouble remembering to bring home their lunch boxes. I bought the bentgo backpack to help solve that problem and I couldn’t be happier. The backpack is comfortable, has plenty of space for school work, and the lunch bag part fits their bentgo lunch boxes plus an ice pack and extra snacks. We love it!

I really love this book bag for my daughter! She picked out the print and absolutely loves it. I find the attached lunchbox on the bottom so convenient so she doesn’t forget her lunchbox at school! I also really like the adjustable cup slot on the side so you can have different sized cups. The only thing that I’m upset with is that I didn’t get one for my other 3 kids.

It is a beautiful print, but I feel like this is for someone in a lower grade. It does not fit my daughters binders, she is in 5th grade. We did however keep the lunchbox for my daughter. We got the bookbag and lunchbox for my son in a different print, he is in 1st grade and everything fits perfectly in the book bag.

It was smaller then I had anticipated and you can really put like dressing or condiments in the little sections be it might not leak outside or even inside but when you open the lid it’s all sober the top of the lid and it then slides down the back of the lid but that’s kinda hard to prevent so it’s ok. Other then that I love the fact that the ice pack keeps her lunch cold all day. I do wish there was room for a drink so her drink stayed cold also.

I really needed this style book bag for my son’s Bentgo box. I was highly disappointed when trying to fit a regular sized folder, 2 thin library books in the bag. The book bag is very short, not sufficient for older kids. Think more towards Kindergarten/1st grade. There’s no room for a hoodie or sweatshirt, only one drink pocket, no room for a small football and his recorder for music class doesn’t fit easily. Older kids need longer in length & a second area (the length of the book bag) for extra space. We will use this bag temporarily until I find something sufficient. Don’t recommend purchasing if you need length or space.

These backpacks are great! So far they seem like they’re good quality. We’ll see as the time progresses, how they hold up. Purchased them to go along with the kids’ chill boxes. When we put the ice in the Bentgo Chill Box, it didn’t keep our kids’ food cold until lunchtime so figured we’d try these backpacks in combination. Perfect! We stick another ice pack on top of the Bentgo box inside the lunch box pocket and everything stays ice cold.

We love these backpacks for our younger kids! Our boys used them from Kindergarten through 2nd grade. We also loved that there wasn't a separate lunchbox that was taking up space in their backpack with their homework and books. Only complaint is that the drawstring on the water bottle pocket get worn out fast, would much prefer elastic.
