This backpack/lunchbox is well made. It is larger than my 4 year old granddaughter, but, she expects to wear it anyway. The lunchbox in the bottom holds the Bentgo Fresh box and a 12 Oz. pre-packaged drink. It also holds a 1.4 Oz. pouch of pop tart bites and a sandwich bag of Chex Mix, both laid out as flat as you can on top of the fresh box. The mesh pouch on the side of the backpack also holds a 14 oz. Munchkin brand Miracle 360 Sippy Cup. Perfect set-up for school necessities, change of clothes, lunch and snack!

Love it. Love the design. Very durable and easy to use. Only wish it could fit a sandwich. Even if i cut up a sandwich, it still doesn't fit. Not a deal breaker though. I use dinner rolls for sandwiches instead. It fits 2 of them nicely :) highly recommend buying a bentgo chill lunch box!

We have been long time bentgo box users and I was excited to see a new design come out that keeps my kids lunches cool through the day! The design of the box is very smooth and estheticly looks pleasing to the eye. However, I am still very partial to the kids boxes from the original line. The compartments in the new box are smaller and there is no option to make the meals ahead of time & snap a lid on to keep in the fridge. (We appreciate being able to meal prep with the other boxes). I am not discounting that this is a good box - just doesn’t fit our needs at the moment and I find myself using the other boxes more than this one. The concept is great and I am glad we were able to try it out.

We love this backpack! I love that the bentgo box fits in the bottom. I wish there were a tad more room to include a juice box with it. Otherwise, it's amazing. I love all of the pouches in the front pocket, and the spot for a water bottle on the side. Quality material also!

This is perfect for my kids’ school lunches. I even plan on using them during the summer. We’ll just make them up in the morning and we can eat it during the day when we get hungry. I got one for each kid and myself. Will be easy to just grab it and take it to the park. It’s not super big but I add an almond milk box and a nut bar and then it’s enough food for one person. I really like the freezer trey that keeps the food cold although I still add an ice pack to the lunch box to keep the drinks cold.

The lunchbox does a good job of chilling, according to my little, but his lunch bag has been a mess when he gets home. If he does not finish his food (yogurt, applesauce, hummus, dipping sauces etc) it leaks out of the compartment(s). The foods mix inside of the compartments as well (ie yogurt mixes into the ketchup). It’s also pretty heavy compared to other lunchboxes.

I really needed this style book bag for my son’s Bentgo box. I was highly disappointed when trying to fit a regular sized folder, 2 thin library books in the bag. The book bag is very short, not sufficient for older kids. Think more towards Kindergarten/1st grade. There’s no room for a hoodie or sweatshirt, only one drink pocket, no room for a small football and his recorder for music class doesn’t fit easily. Older kids need longer in length & a second area (the length of the book bag) for extra space. We will use this bag temporarily until I find something sufficient. Don’t recommend purchasing if you need length or space.

This lunch box is wonderful! There is just enough space for her to have what she wants to take for lunch. I was worried the compartments where to small but they aren’t. The ice pack stays cold for long and haven’t had issues with that. The only issue I have and the only reason I can’t give the five stars is because of the leakage problem. It does not leak out side of the box but if there is liquid in one of the compartments it’s going into the other. I don’t put it in a dishwasher (I don’t have one) it is all hand washed and surprisingly has not yet been dropped. All together I am very happy with this for my kindergartener

We’ve got two of these for our kiddos and love them. Very well made. (We’ve got the lunch boxes, ice packs, snack containers, we are all in!) Bottom cold compartment has a zip pocket for ice packs. And keeps their lunches cold until lunch. They are usually still pretty cool when we pick them up even in the hot days. Definitely recommend to round out your Bentgo collection.

Bentgo really thought of everything when it comes to the design of this backpack. There’s a thought about every component from the space for the water bottle and the bungee to keep it in place to the space below for an ice pack. I couldn’t recommend this backpack more. The lunch box keeps everything cool/warm and the compartments keep foods separate perfectly. The quality is through the roof. Money well spent. We got the sports themed combo and the colors are vibrant and I can tell this will wash beautifully.
