Soft, but firm. If you're used to sinking into your bed, and hearing springs groan as you try to find a comfortable position, then this is probably what you're looking for. It'll feel different at first, but you'll soon realize that this is how your mattress should feel if you don't want to wake up with back pain.

Very nice. Takes getting used to, compared to an innerspring mattress. No bounce at all. My back hurt some after the first 2 nights, but once my body adjusted, no problems. It is a little more firm than my personal preference. I am a big guy and I was worried about being hot. So far, it is very comfortable.

I replaced a old spring mattress with this Memory foam one. I have been watching the development of the foam mattress for a while. I was always worried about the heat and the mattress being too soft. This mattress has multiple layers to keep it cool and is firm. I have found that I do not wake up in the night or toss and turn as much. It gives great support for your back while contouring to your body on your side. I would definitely recommend this mattress.

Replaced a older sams club memory foam matress that was 10 years old. This one is firmer. So far still a residual rubber plastic smell from matteess. I think the older one aired out in a couple of weeks, almost at a month with this one and i still notice the smell. I would rate it higher, but the chemical smell is annoying.

It’s a good mattress. It is not as firm as I imagined it would be, but it’s far from terrible. I have chronic back issues and have found that firm mattresses are the most pain-relieving for me. This one does have some “give” but not too much. It’s not rock-solid like some other firm mattresses.

I received my mattress about three weeks ago. We opened the box and there were no instructions on how to set it up. We looked on YouTube and found a video on what we needed to do. It was simple and took no time to do. I’ve read some reviews that say it took a while for the smell to go away but I had sheets on ours within a couple of hours and was sleeping on it a few hours later. I wanted a firm mattress and had to think a long time about a “bed in a box” with memory foam being firm enough for me. I was very skeptical. This is a very firm mattress and I’m very satisfied with my choice. Overall, This is a great mattress for the money.

I purchased this for my 80+ age parents and had it shipped directly to them. Easy set up for them since they just had to open the box and let it expand overnight. My Mom said it keeps her cooler at night and my Dad sleeps all night. He used to wake up and move to his recliner! It was "different" from their pillow top mattress and took a couple nights to get used to since this is a gel memory foam, so doesn't have that "pillow" feeling, but after a couple of nights, they enjoy the support and comfort of the gel. At $499, this saved my parents a lot of money too. They were thinking they were going to have to spend over $1000 for this kind of comfort!

I bought this mattress for my guest room. It is firm, but it's a softer firm than a standard mattress. It is quite comfortable to sleep on. The mattress never expanded to 12 inches, but that has not impacted my review of this product. I would buy this mattress again!

Seems like a quality product. A little stiffer than I'd like, but everybody else in my family says it's perfect. I guess that's better than too soft. There's no topper or other remedy for that problem. Took awhile to get here because of backorders. But it came in good condition. Try to get it on sale if you can wait. But a hundred dollars here or there is not a big deal for something you'll be sleeping on every night.

I am amazed how hard this mattress feels when I lay on it for the first few minutes each time, then it seems to mold to me. Many mornings, I feel rested, but way up with a sore hip because I have slept on a side and haven't moved all night---as far as I know. Also, Sam's never sent any kind of delivery notification on this item. It just arrived. Ahead of time and before I had closed on the new house. Frustrating.
