When I rolled this thing out on the bed and cut one end of the bag open, it started expanding so quickly I had trouble cutting the bag off fast enough to keep up with it. In less than two minutes, it was at full thickness. It didn't have any of that new mattress stink, either. I have joint damage to my right hip and shoulder which would bother me if I rolled over onto that side, but after sleeping on this mattress for about three weeks, I haven't noticed any trouble lying on my right. Much more comfortable.

I have had major back problems for quite a while, and needed a new mattress. I did a lot of shopping around and when I saw this one go on sale I decided to try it. After the first night sleeping on my new mattress, I got up and actually had no back pain. Just hope this holds out like it has started. Love this mattress!

Best sleep I have had in years. Have had it a month. After a week it hurt my husband hip (he is a larger guy and prefers a soft bed) so we got a 3" cooling memory gel topper and its been great. You wont be sorry getting this. If it's a tad too firm just buy an egg crate topper or gel topper

Before I purchased this mattress, I did an extensive online search comparing products and their reviews from Wayfair, Macy's, Ashley, etc and made my decision based on other reviews. So I most say, I am so happy I went with this mattress because my girls and I love it. They have a Queen size and I bought the exact mattress in a King size a month ago. I have never slept better as I am a side sleeper, who suffers from back pains. Amazing comfort at such an affordable price!

Not actually 12”, barely 11”... love the mattress but not truly 12”... based on other reviews seems like this is a common complaint.. did i mention that i sent it back and was sent a replacement the same width...11”!! honestly i love the mattress but wish they would have advertised it at true dementions.

I have been shopping for a mattress for a few weeks. Couldn’t match the quality with the price I wanted to pay at any of the furniture or mattress stores. This mattress is extremely good quality at an extremely good price. Very happy with this purchase.

All the reviews were great. As I was looking for a firm mattress. One person said they took it back to Sam’s because it was like sleeping on a floor. That’s exactly what I needed to hear. Sam’s delivered it, it better then I thought it would be. If you like it firm buy it.

Usually there is a break in period for a mattress. This mattress was very comfortable from the first night. The only problem was the delivery aspect. Even though free delivery was offered, due to mess ups with Fed Ex, I had to pick it up myself from the Fed Ex facility.

We have had this mattress (12" Serta Sleep-to-go) for about 2 weeks. We bought it to replace a very old sagging pillow top spring mattress in our master bedroom. We were not a fan of the pillow top and have liked firmer beds in the past, so the negative reviews did not scare us. I should note that we have a sleep number in our other bedroom and are happy with it, but it's not great for non-sleeping activities, so we were hoping for an alternative. Shipping wise, the bed came on a Monday instead of the previous Friday that was estimated via email, but that didn't bother us. The box it came in was missing a wheel and part of the box was torn, but again that didn't bother us either. It was easy to unroll and unfold and it fluffed up to almost 12" almost immediately after unrolling it (12" on one side, 11 3/4" on the other an hour in). It had a not pleasant off-gassing smell, so we slept elsewhere the first night, turned on the exhaust fan in the connecting bathroom, and tried it the following night. My experience and my husband's experience on the bed were completely different. I am about 36 years old, 5' 8" tall, and 120 lbs and have slept well on any bed my whole life, cheap hotels included. Every night I slept on this bed I had extreme problems falling asleep (took more than 2 hours each night), woke up pretty close to every hour, and woke up sore through my shoulders, neck, and back in the mornings. I stuck it out for more than 10 days trying different pillows, positions (I sleep on my side, back, and occasionally my stomach), and switching sides of the bed with my husband. There was only very minimal improvement if any and I was still waking up frequently through the night and having numbness and soreness in my elbows and knees, which I've never experienced before. I stopped trying when I got a debilitating headache that lasted 8 hours and seemed to stem from the neck/shoulder/back pain and tightness (my first non-migraine headache in over 20 years). Needless to say, we will be returning the bed. My husband is also 36 years old, just over 6' tall, and weighs about 230 lbs. He generally sleeps on his side, and sometimes his stomach or back. He literally has had the best two weeks of sleep in his entire life on this bed. For the 17 years I have known him, he has always had problems sleeping - waking up in the middle of the night, getting up at 5:00 am because he can't get back to sleep, and basically living life in a state of semi-exhaustion. In contrast, on this bed, he has slept like a baby, almost overslept for work at 7:00 am, and says he feels rested and wonderful in the mornings. If we could cut the bed in half, we would. So if you are considering the bed...flip a coin?

It’s a good mattress. It is not as firm as I imagined it would be, but it’s far from terrible. I have chronic back issues and have found that firm mattresses are the most pain-relieving for me. This one does have some “give” but not too much. It’s not rock-solid like some other firm mattresses.
