[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan of Old El Paso since I was a little kiddo (I'm now 41). I prefer the spices and flavors in this brand versus some other contenders. I love that you have the option to get low sodium or a more spicy kicked up version as well. We use this mix for tacos, taco salad, fajitas and etc. Just the right amount of heat and perfect flavors to kick your food up a notch. Definitely recommend!!

I made ground beef tacos last night. I had purchased the Old El Paso crunchy kit plus an extra packet of original seasoning. I've used Old El Paso products before and was not concerned. We used 2lbs of ground beef to make the tacos. They were so spicy (hot) that it was a struggle to eat them, and not just for me I don't have a high heat tolerance, but I've purchased this before and never had a problem. Has the recipe changed or could it have been mislabeled product?

Makes a nice saucey coating for the meat and doesn’t retain that packaged powder taste like the rest. Hands down my family’s favorite!

What in the world did you do to the Mild Taco Mix? It is white rather than orange/red and has minimal taco flavor. It cooks up thick and doesn't smell as good as it used to smell. I can't smell tacos in the kitchen after cooking now and before, I could smell taco seasoning all in the house.

It gave my tacos an authentic taste which is exactly what I was looking for. No need for extra salt, so be careful of that. Happy with the purchase and I would use for my Taco Tuesdays again.
