You can use this seasoning with chicken, beef or pork to create so many different meals very quickly. I recommend always having the Taco Seasoning Mix ready in your pantry.

I’ve used this seasoning for about 10 years for tacos and other recipes. I recently bought this packet again after not purchasing it for a while and it was not the same. It completely lacked the flavor I was used to, I’m not sure if they changed the recipe but I will be finding a new seasoning now. So disappointing.

I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone I know, I feel they are reliable and safe as I have not heard about any recalls from their brand yet. I would also recommend this brand for those who don't have time to make their own taco seasoning from scratch.

Flavor and color not the same. I used to remark that old El Paso had the same great flavor and never changed. Have been enjoying for 50 years, but will not repurchase now. The seasoning changed and the taco shells burn in an instant in the toaster oven. First time in my life I didn’t enjoy taco night. My hubby was looking forward to the tacos, he’s going to hate them now. Even if you change back, how would you get the word out to your lost customers? Tastes like salt and red chili powder. No flavor at all. A real loss.

The packaging is just exactly the way it says it is and the texture. The tacos is extremely the best tacos you can cook you will never go round wrong with this one. It’s always on the shelves and it has it versatile. You can put it in anything. We cook it with steak hamburger chicken it all works. 

I have used Old El Paso Taco Seasoning for the past two years. It has always been good until this week. On Tuesday, I made tacos with Old El Paso Original Taco Seasoning Mix. The tacos were so hot and spicy so I had to throw out 7 tacos. I was hoping it was just that one package, so on Wednesday I made taco soup and used another packet of Old El Paso Original Seasoning mix. Once again it was so hot and spicy that we could barely eat it. Have you changed the Original or was a mistake made in packaging?
