It is an inconvenience that you can't pick the way you want your cake to be done as opposed to going into the store I don't like this online getting your cake is not the cake that I want but it'll be the last cake I get from here I used to always get my cakes here and I can't even get the cake the way I want it.

I have bought cakes from Sam's club for years and always been able to fill out the form in club or call and choose whatever design and icing colors I wanted. Apparently, you are no longer able to customize the colors of the icing or the design online, in-club, or over the phone. The online options limit you to roses or balloons and only come in red. I don't know who decided this option was better but probably won't order more cakes since I'm not doing a red rose cake for every event. It's a shame because there cake and icing is the best out of all the stores.

I have gotten Sams Club cake for years. It is the whole reason I have a membership. The taste of the icing is different and not as good as it used to be. Now you have to order and prepay on the ap with few decoration options. I will pay a little more for a better tasting cake where I don’t have to buy a membership. I will not need to renew my membership.

Tasted great and the price is unbeatable for the quality. Knocking off a star because the "customizations" ended up pretty generic and not what was selected. Probably could be resolved by calling or ordering in person and emphasizing the importance of color or design, if necessary. - Balloons weren't the colors I chose - No colored icing around the bottom or lining the top design so didn't match the party (2-year-old's birthday) - No little gift packages sticking up around the top as seen in the photos

The cakes taste great, but they look terrible. I hate to say it, but they do. There are hard balls in the confetti decorations they sprinkle on the icing borders and they will break your teeth. The balloon strings are ugly. I'm so disappointed in my Sam's bakery. The online ordering is lacking so much.

Ordering online is horrible. It says you can order a custom cake but you can only choose the color options they provide. I called the store on cattlemen for help and she was rude and would not help at all. I called another store and they took my CUSTOM order over the phone with no problem. Horrible was to do business

We purchased a 1/2 sheet cake for our year-end celebration and dropped off a picture to be printed on the cake. We were assured that the bakery would print the picture for the online order we placed. When my husband went to pick the cake up, it was decorated only with the options online and did not have the picture as promised. The bakery staff were very dismissive and said they just "missed it" and there was not time to redo the cake. Price may be right but customer service and decorations are a hard pass.
