We opened it and let it air out. We didn't notice the bad odor we had read about. From the first night on it my husband slept better then he had in years. It took me a couple nights to make sure it was going to be a keeper. I hardly turn over now. I use to wake my husband up flopping over and over just trying to get comfortable. I like to read in the morning and was concerned because I read a review that said you couldn't sit on this bed except on the edge. Not true!! This is a great find and we are pleased with the purchase.

First thing I want to say is I have a chronic low back condition. It has been getting progressively worse over the past year whereas I am having episodes more frequently and with more intensity. Having said that, I am so comfortable on this mattress and I have to say, with some degree of sadness, as Frank Sinatra used to say about people who don't drink, "I feel sorry for them" he would say, "because when they wake up in the morning, that's the best they're gonna' feel all day." We replaced a 20 year old Select Comfort air mattress, now known as a Sleep Number bed and this new mattress is much more comfortable. It did take a couple of nights to adjust to the "depth" of the top layer of soft, cushiony foam as it will envelope you immediately and you sink down 2-3 inches and it seems at first that rotating or any movement at all would be difficult, and I like to flip from side to side pretty much all through the night. However, I was surprised to find that rotating from back to side and back again is no big deal at all. My wife agrees this mattress is more comfortable and she is a back sleeper. So bottom line is we are pleased. I would give it five stars but I don't know how it will hold up over time. However compared to the cost of a new Sleep Number bed it does not need to last near as long.

We bought this to replace a 20 year old mattress. My wife and I were both having problems with our backs. So we decided to replace the mattress with a foam mattress from Night Therapy. This would be the 4th mattress we purchased from Sam's Club as three of our kids have the full size mattresses. We had slept on the kids mattresses and thought they felt just right. However when this mattress came it was just too soft. Both of us feel like were sleeping on a "gag" mattress with our feet and heads in the air and our behinds sinking deeply into the mattress. We hope that feeling goes away but only time will tell. We would recommend the other mattress we have purchased but not this one.

My husband (40s) and I (30s) have slept on beds all over the USA and this is by far the most comfortable bed we both have ever slept on. We both have suffered severe back injuries in the past which is a constant regular ordeal at all times (chronic). This bed makes lying down a dream come true. We have the King size and its awesome. We had in-laws come for Christmas and sleep on it, the man is a giant and enormous, and he loved it. Got one for mother in law (Full) who has severely curved spine and in her late 60s. She loves it. Best bed out there, not to mention one of the cheapest Kings you can buy. It does not sleep 'hot' and is comfortable from head to toe. Side sleeping, back sleeping, and stomach/face sleeping are all very comfortable for us both. Why blow your money on anything else or some name brand garbage from a dealer? We have wealthy friends who live in mansions with memory foam beds that were very expensive and we woke up with back pain and sleeplessness. I'm telling ya, this bed is the one you are looking for. Believe me, we both hate everything and it turned out to be actually something we loved and not just liked or had to "deal" with. My husband wishes he had this 25 years ago when he was working in factories and driving semis for decades.

We purchased this mattress over a month ago and so far, it's wonderful. As most people have mentioned in their reviews, we were skeptical ordering something online without having laid on it or even seen it. We decided before ordering we would visit a mattress place to lay on a memory foam type mattress to make sure at the very least that we didn't hate the way it felt, we knew right away that it felt great so, we ordered this one, at half the price by the way. When it arrived my husband was shocked at how small the box was for a King size mattress but once opened up it begins to grow in size. There is definitely "that" smell but we did what others did and left it in another room for a 3 days to come to full size as well as allowing the smell to lessen, it wasn't totally gone after the 3 days but certainly enough so that it didn't bother us. Our existing mattress was a very expensive custom one, however, we for years have spent our nights "flipping" as my husband calls it, all night long. We kept each other up with the constant "flipping" or even just getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, it seemed like we just got used to never getting a full night's sleep. I also had been waking up most mornings with lower back pain, some days hardly being able to stand up straight when I first get up and my husband started having shoulder issues in the last year, all of which disappeared the very first night sleeping on this wonderful mattress. That first night my husband woke up in the same position he had gone to bed in and the sheets and blankets weren't disturbed at all, I couldn't believe it! The next day we both raved about the quality of the sleep and asked ourselves why in the world we had waited so long to buy this mattress. We both think it's maybe the best buy we've ever made. Now, having said all of that, I realize we have only had this mattress for a month so I will update this after 6 months and maybe at the 1 year point to review how the mattress has held up over time.

Well, we bought this gel foam mattress To go with the new bed and nightstands we bought at Sam's. The mattress has only been out of the packaging about 12 hours, but it has already gone to full thickness. There is a lot of discussion on the reviews about the softness or firmness of this mattress. Here is our take...... When you first get on this mattress, it feels very soft and spongy. HOWEVER, as soon as you get situated, you can feel the memory foam and especially the gel begin to conform to your body. In seconds, you feel as though you are being supported by a "firmish cloud". I am currently suffering from back and spine issues, and I could not believe the supportive comfort of this mattress. Same with my wife. Back sufferer for years, and loves this thing. At 619 bucks, how can you go wrong. Even if you have to replace it in 3 or so years, it is still so much cheaper than the brand name ripoffs. THANKS SAM'S

What we received is a shock considering all the GREAT reviews on this mattress. It is extremely soft and squishy. I would say it is quite close to a water bed in it's lack of structure. When you lay on it, you feel as if you are in a hammock. There is NO SITTING on it, without bottoming out and I don't mean just along the edges. If you sit with pillows propped up, as in watching TV or reading, your backside bottoms out and you are sitting in a hole. I am wondering if it is defective. I did see someone else who called it a hammock, and thought perhaps they were just hyper-critical. But NOW I will say I believe them! And, perhaps we just got one that came out of a bad batch in production. It's really hard for us because we are not physically able to return it to Sam's Club. I suffer from a back injury. Now, I have to sleep in a back brace, because without it, I can't sleep in this bed at all! I really think that if I was 20 and in perfect health I would feel the same about this mattress. My advice is to move on and don't buy it.

My husband and I have had this bed for 4 months and it is the best! My husband no longer complains about back pain. I am getting a good night's sleep every night. And best of all, it was at a reasonable price. I tell leveryone I know who is in the market for a new bed-- this is the way to go! You won't be disappointed.

We've had this mattress for a bit over a week and it is amazingly comfortable. It arrived quickly, was easy to set up with two people, and there was minimal odor that dissipated in a few hours. Every portion of our bodies is supported and we are no longer waking up stiff with back and shoulder pain. Couldn't be more pleased!

We would not be without our Night Therapy Elite 13 My Gel Prestige Memory Foam Mattress-King & Better Than A Box Spring. We have back problems & tried them all. This was a fraction of the price we had paid. We have slept on it for four months now & LOVE it. We have both slept thru the night several times now & this is unheard of at our age & back cond.
