What we received is a shock considering all the GREAT reviews on this mattress. It is extremely soft and squishy. I would say it is quite close to a water bed in it's lack of structure. When you lay on it, you feel as if you are in a hammock. There is NO SITTING on it, without bottoming out and I don't mean just along the edges. If you sit with pillows propped up, as in watching TV or reading, your backside bottoms out and you are sitting in a hole. I am wondering if it is defective. I did see someone else who called it a hammock, and thought perhaps they were just hyper-critical. But NOW I will say I believe them! And, perhaps we just got one that came out of a bad batch in production. It's really hard for us because we are not physically able to return it to Sam's Club. I suffer from a back injury. Now, I have to sleep in a back brace, because without it, I can't sleep in this bed at all! I really think that if I was 20 and in perfect health I would feel the same about this mattress. My advice is to move on and don't buy it.

We pondered the idea of a memory foam mattress after buying a more expensive brand for each of our sons. When we saw the memory foam mattress in Sam's Club for a much cheaper price, I went online and read the reviews. Our pillow top mattress was only four years old at the time, so we didn't think we could possibly need a new one. Yet every morning my husband and I woke up feeling sore. When the price dropped a few weeks ago, I researched the mattresses again. I didn't buy the brand in the store, I bought this mattress from the web site that had 200+ positive reviews. For the past two years my hips have been killing me. Each time I would stand up from a sitting position I'd be hunched over until I could stand upright. After riding in a car for more than 15 minutes my hips would be so sore. I was very concerned as I'm only 48. My doctor suggested physical therapy. I could not believe it that after only two nights sleeping on this bed my hip pain was almost gone. Even after sitting for longer periods I can stand right up without any discomfort in my hips. I look forward to going to bed every night. My husband and I both love it. He is always a warm person and hasn't complained about the bed making him feel warmer at all. It is definitely worth the price. Look at the money and time I saved not having to go to physical therapy!!

First thing I want to say is I have a chronic low back condition. It has been getting progressively worse over the past year whereas I am having episodes more frequently and with more intensity. Having said that, I am so comfortable on this mattress and I have to say, with some degree of sadness, as Frank Sinatra used to say about people who don't drink, "I feel sorry for them" he would say, "because when they wake up in the morning, that's the best they're gonna' feel all day." We replaced a 20 year old Select Comfort air mattress, now known as a Sleep Number bed and this new mattress is much more comfortable. It did take a couple of nights to adjust to the "depth" of the top layer of soft, cushiony foam as it will envelope you immediately and you sink down 2-3 inches and it seems at first that rotating or any movement at all would be difficult, and I like to flip from side to side pretty much all through the night. However, I was surprised to find that rotating from back to side and back again is no big deal at all. My wife agrees this mattress is more comfortable and she is a back sleeper. So bottom line is we are pleased. I would give it five stars but I don't know how it will hold up over time. However compared to the cost of a new Sleep Number bed it does not need to last near as long.

Read the reviews and purchased based on these. We love this mattress and are very happy. Initial smell was no issue (slept on it 4-5 hours after unpacking). Can't wait to go to sleep at night now. Have had this mattress for 2 months so no idea about longevity, but so far, it provides for an outstanding nights sleep

We opened it and let it air out. We didn't notice the bad odor we had read about. From the first night on it my husband slept better then he had in years. It took me a couple nights to make sure it was going to be a keeper. I hardly turn over now. I use to wake my husband up flopping over and over just trying to get comfortable. I like to read in the morning and was concerned because I read a review that said you couldn't sit on this bed except on the edge. Not true!! This is a great find and we are pleased with the purchase.

I bought my original queen Foam Mattress from Sam's 3 years ago and loved it. So, when I recently upgraded to a king size bed I was going to buy the same one. Then I saw the Night Therapy MyGel and read all the reviews. Hmmm, should I go with the one I already experienced and loved or try the one so many people were raving about? It took me 3 months to decide between the two. I'm very happy to say I decided on the Night Therapy MyGel 13". I've had it now for several months and thank myself every night when I go to bed. It is the most comfortable bed I have ever had. Now, when I go on trips, I can't wait to get back home to my bed. I sleep very well now and have no aches or pains when I wake up. I do have to say, if you order the king, have help when it arrives as it's quite heavy to move on your own.

It seemed strange buying a mattress that you weren't able to test out in a store. After shopping competitors, the price and return policy sold us on this purchase. We love the mattress. Set-up wasn't a problem, but it did take two to handle carrying up a flight of stairs. I don't believe I will ever go back to a traditional mattress. We both sleep better on our new mattress.

We bought this to replace a 20 year old mattress. My wife and I were both having problems with our backs. So we decided to replace the mattress with a foam mattress from Night Therapy. This would be the 4th mattress we purchased from Sam's Club as three of our kids have the full size mattresses. We had slept on the kids mattresses and thought they felt just right. However when this mattress came it was just too soft. Both of us feel like were sleeping on a "gag" mattress with our feet and heads in the air and our behinds sinking deeply into the mattress. We hope that feeling goes away but only time will tell. We would recommend the other mattress we have purchased but not this one.

Looked at other places and Sam's Club had the best price. I love that I do not feel my husband move or get out of the bed early in the morning. I do not have to turn over as much and when we do turn over, we do not feel the other person. It has a cooling gel and is not as hot. Also bought the platform with it as well. No box springs....which helps. Have recommended to all my friends.
